My son lives in Forest Lake so this was a convenient place to stay and enjoy my son and grandchildren for the weekend. The only issue was all of the hockey families who allowed their children to run around the hotel without supervision while the parents talked in the lounge. The good news was that the families went to bed early so it was only during the day that there were issues. The staff did a good job in trying to corral troublemakers.

I recently found myself in a pinch and needed a cheap motel room fast! I found Norwood Inn and suites in Roseville Minnesota through a quick google search. I was able to get a room for under $50 a night through Trip. To my surprise Norwood Inn and suites was a full functioning hotel with a pool, continental, breakfast, and modern amenities, comparable to any major hotel chain. We had a pleasant stay. Our room was clean, no smells and not a lot of noise. Our room was right off the lobby, which was nice. The staff was helpful and friendly. Due to the COVID-19 precautions, the breakfast was very basic, but was still better than some places we have stayed at. If we have need of a hotel in that area of Minneapolis again, we would not hesitate to stay there.

The staff here are fantastic. So friendl6 and helpful. The entire hotel is spotless and the rooms are very spacious. Every room has a pull out couch as well. There are two pools and a jacuzzi which my kids loved. They even have a little arcade. Literally the best hotel experience I've ever had.
