Lovely hotel, the owners are wonderful and really go out of their way to help and make guests feel welcome. The place is spotless and very comfortable, my husband is disabled and this was one of the best accessible rooms we have ever stayed in, very spacious room and wetroom. Breakfast was plentiful and varied.

Very friendly small hotel. Family run. The owners could not have been more helpful and accommodating. It’s small but very clean, food was really good and overall a really nice place to stay as a stopover. Bar area and dining area is small but well decorated and spotless. We had an historic vehicle with us and they allowed us to use their private parking space. Great service.

If you are looking for quality and kindness, then don't hesitate for a second. Come and stay at the Hôtel de Lion sur Mer. The rooms are very comfortable, very clean and decorated with great care. The breakfast is very generous and varied and very good, as was the evening meal tested by my parents. Our hosts are very caring and very attentive. Your hotel is superb. We spent a long weekend in June 2018 in Normandy, visiting the landing beaches but also visiting Mont St Michel, as we didn't want to leave again, we decided to stay one more day..lol..on the road, impossible to find a hotel and passing through Lion sur mer, a hotel on the road, the lion de mer hotel, it was apparently closed so we decided to call them anyway, they opened the door and welcomed us generously, super friendly owners, magnificent setting, very clean and very quiet, cocooning room, top breakfast, very good value for money, and places to eat in the immediate surroundings. We recommend you without detour.

We arrived late, staff were waiting for us, the room was very clean, the en-suite was also very clean. The beds were so comfortable, I managed a 9hr sleep, when I can’t sleep in my own bed. I would thoroughly recommend.

Lovely room full of charm, impeccable cleanliness. Top-notch welcome with a smile and kindness, whether Madam or Sir.
Very generous breakfast served as a buffet with good croissants.
We were on the landing beaches and the hotel's location for getting around is great.
