Extended Stay America Suites - Philadelphia - Exton

The place was rather rundown. The hair dryer in my room started smoking as soon as I turned it on. No one at front desk so I had to fly out with wet hair.

I wil be 69 yrs old on May 7th in all my life I have never received a thank you letter from anyone until I met the general manager kia. It really made my day. The team lead JOELISHA does an amazing job I never want to leave this place...............

Fire alarm went off in the middle of the night . Staff was rude and the situation was not handled properly

Went to pay for my room. The 1st person I spoke to said she does not know how to take a payment. The 2nd person that was at the front desk told me that they do not accept cash as a payment. I explained to her that there is a law in Pennsylvania stating that Any brick & mortar business must accept cash. She called her general manager who told her I could not pay with cash and I would be charged a late fee if I did not pay immediately. I told the person at the front desk that it would be later in the day after I go to the bank to deposit cash. She said that they would be charging me a late fee.

Kia is great and takes customer service to the next level. She would be a great manager. She treats the customers with the utmost respect. She also treats the staff team with great respect. The room was clean and room service is every two weeks for long term stays. Which this is understandable. The rooms are equipped with refrigerators and a cooktop. Dishes and pots and pans are available upon request. This hotel is recommended highly for the working class. Very affordable.

Never Ever Ever Stay At this hotel! The new general manager Meaghan Lousie Hickenbottem was my worst nightmare. Never had a problem prior to this change of management. She added fees to my bill to make me pay more also. Called the cops several times on me for absolutely no reason and lied, (p.s. cops were pretty nice and laughed about what she tried to do)especially the very last day! Called cops 3 times while we waited for triple aaa to get our second vehicled removed off property, and we were minding our own business and sat in our vehicle waiting and she did was call the cops for no reason... The worst experience ever! STAY AWAY NOT WORTH IT. ELEVATOR OUT OF SERVICE.

We were in Exton for 1 night for a memorial service and only needed something basic. After researching, we decided on this Extended Stay America due to location and price. Megan greeted us on check-in. She was very friendly, efficient and gave these 2 senior citizens a room on the first floor. She also recommended the best Italian restaurant we have ever eaten at (see review for Ron's Original Bar and Grill - Exton). Our accommodations were exactly as pictured on the website. We appreciated the plank vinyl flooring rather than carpeting. Much easier to keep clean. Our room was spotlessly clean. No dust bunnies and a bathroom that shined. Great flat screen TV, and while we didn't use the kitchen facilities in our room -- I looked them over and they, too, were immaculate. Our bed was comfortable, the surroundings quiet, and we got a good night's sleep after being on the road for 9 hours. Water temp was great and the shower had very good water pressure. The commons areas were all in excellent repair with pleasant decor. The free breakfast was "grab n go". Muffins, granola bars, coffee/tea/hot chocolate. It was all we needed. If you are looking for a place that is clean, well-maintained, has a continental breakfast and you don't desire a fitness room/pool etc, we would highly recommend this establishment.
