Room Lisboa

We stayed for three days, and it was quite an experience! On the first day, the shower only had scalding hot water. The second day, it was only ice-cold water – I even heard the girl next door singing 'Let It Go' because it was so cold. On the third day, it was back to only hot water. Our room was advertised with a private bathroom, but we couldn't even shower or brush our teeth properly! We complained to the front desk multiple times. Each time, they said it was fixed and that staff would come up to check, but no one ever showed up. On top of that, the elevator broke down, and our room key suddenly stopped working – a whole series of absurd events. I knew it was a hostel, so I mentally prepared myself, but I was still shocked. On our last night, I couldn't take it anymore and confronted the front desk. They said they'd submitted a compensation request and would at least refund one night's stay, telling us to speak to the manager the next day. The next day, the manager told us we had to wait for system approval and submit the request through the app. The problem is, neither Ctrip nor I could get a hold of them – calls went unanswered, and emails were ignored. In the end, Ctrip compensated us on their behalf. Absolutely ridiculous!
