It's just a standard hostel. The value for money is pretty good. It felt quite safe, and the location is excellent, right in the old town.

The room was great, with an en-suite bathroom and very clean bedding. Its central location made it convenient to get to all the attractions. Overall, it was excellent, and the price was quite reasonable, offering great value for money, especially if you're a solo traveler.

Arrived late near 10pm but was still greeted by a friendly night shift guy, helped me with a quick smooth check in.
got room 506, bed 6, very nice lay out in room that's not crampy, sufficient space for each bedder and bags, beds are comfy and pillows great. toilets are clean and shower water hot with good pressure.
wifi signal in room is great even at 5th floor, didn't buy the breakfast but saw they have a good spread of eggs, hams tarts and bread.
room doors need a bit of pressure to close securely when entering or leaving.
great location in Baixa with lots of food places around and easy walk to sights! will recommend anyone in Lisbon to try this place out.
common space also nicely laid out, not a very social hostel though, so if looking to connect, bear in mind.

Very central location.
The bed is too soft.
Very basic hostel but it is very clean.
Apart from the soft bed, there was also sewage smell in the room. It seems that it is a common problem in the city.
The receptionist gave us a bottle of air freshener to be kept in the room. It helps to eliminate the odor in for few hours, and need to re-apply again.

We enjoyed our stay at Central House Lisbon and would stay there again. The private room was clean, small, and well decorated. Bathroom was clean with a good shower. Shower had good water pressure with good heat. The bed was pretty comfortable with decently nice sheets.
The highlight was the breakfast. It had a good selection of warm and cold options. Ham, cheese, toast, egg tarts, cereal, milk, juices, coffee, lattes, and more.
We would recommend to travelers or Camino starters.
