Booked EA Embassy Prague Hotel, after a few minutes got a message that the hotel is closed and we are moved to the Ramada Prague City Centre. They didn't ask me if I wanted that or not. And of course the Ramada is also the worse hotel (even though both have 4 stars).... Also, according to Booking I had to pay 170€, but according to the bill it was the equivalent of 181€. First I was told that is due to the conversion rate of my bank, which is of course nonsense, because I looked for the official conversion rate.

Stayed in this hotel on a cycle touring trip on the Elbe. This hotel is right in the main square in Roundnice. Our room was lovely, big, clean and well appointed. The breakfast was good. We ate in the hotel and the food was excellent. For all of these reasons I would have given it an excellent. However the reception staff were awful. We didn't have towels in our room and when I went to asked about this I was advised that they would get them to me 'later'. Fifteen minutes later I returned to reception to again ask about towels and the receptionist eventually phoned someone and found out where to get towels. She was well aware that we had been cycling all day and needed a shower but appeared totally unconcerned about this. For this reason I've had to mark it down, which is a pity as otherwise it is a great wee hotel.
