Both golf courses very waterlogged I know you can’t help the rain but help the courses, not much walkway around the courses to stay out of the bog, for the money we paid I expected a lot better courses and more maintained, changed some flags to St George’s cross but not all , just felt like the ones in sight from the car park got changed but couldn’t be bothered with the rest, running out of Stella twice in one day is terrible service and with not much other options that shouldn’t happen. Food was ok a wait of around 25 minutes between when our mains plates getting cleared away to us receiving our desserts(after we had to ask for them) Charlotte was very good but she was being hindered by the Chinese lady that I can only assume is a manager or something but she was coursing all the drama by not actually helping and just made the situation worse, but wasn’t Charlotte’s fault at all but she was very apologetic, golf shop very expensive £3 a ball, £150 for golf shoes the same shoes are on sports direct for £49.99. We have a golf trip every year for the last 9 years and this one has definitely been the worst overall experience and the most expensive by a long way

The location is stunning, the staff were polite, helpful and warm. Bars ran out of basic drinks daily. Food limited for me in both restaurants. Rooms are dated and in need of maintenance. We had a family room and the walls/door were so paper thin we could hear clearly the conversation in the next room. Changing rooms near pool are grimey. Parking spaces for electric charging were too narrow. Shower head is at my face level so showering was uncomfortable.

Hotel was actually really good so no issues there. The GOLF COURSES should NOT have been in play. The two courses completely water logged and 85% of the Courses unplayable. Access to tees - fairways - greens virtually impassable. Trolleys getting bogged in continuously. Several lost balls just off fairways into what can only be described as marshland. Balls cost £3 each! You should absolutely not be taking hard-earned money off people to ruin their perceived luxury weekend of golfing. The Greenkeepers must be livid as the courses are getting trashed. As part of the Golfing community you should be ashamed of yourselves sending golfers out onto these courses in their current state. If you are due to play here soon consider cancelling- it’s awful condition.

Staff 5/5, food 3/5 nice but expensive, hotel 2.5/5, needs referb, alot. and to be cleaned.

Went with a 6 and 4 year old. We loved the pool. It was larger than we thought it would be. Very comfortable, enjoyable.

Staff absolutely super. A huge credit to the hotel. Would not recommend staying if you're not a sporty man. Lots of bad language in the only day time dining / relaxing area. F this F that manly banter. Hotel would really benefit from opening another space where this sporty manbants wouldn't occur.
