Courtyard Little Rock West

Do I plan on staying here again? No, but I wouldn't tell someone to not stay here. I needed to go to Little Rock for a night and cheap (on points if possible). This was my best option for conserving points. However, no free breakfast in the morning like most hotels I stay at. Internet was good. Worked great, even for an evening videoconference. But, the TV needs some work. There was not a great selection of channels, but my TV would cut out a little bit every minute or so, so you would miss small parts of the show. However, the bed was better than I expected and the place was very quiet for being so close to so much traffic.

It was a decent room, my room temperature went from cold air to heat several times on it own.

Basic hotel

Fine staff. Very nice, clean, comfy rooms.

Location was good. The remodeling had a large part of the parking and building closed-off.

Only one problem that kept us from using the front elevator and that was construction work. No problem to go around the back. Maintenace gets done in the off-season. No problem, just unhandy as I'd had eye surgery that morning and I was not too maneuverable. Also, the staff let us check in early and I thank them for that. That was nice of them.

As per their receptionist they won’t take local’s anymore so he said don’t book it next time this hotel since you’re Arkansas resident

We had multiple rooms for a visit to see family over the holidays. I’d stay here again, given the totally reasonable cost of the rooms and the convenient location. I’ll start with the good. First, the staff were all very friendly… they welcomed us, joked around, and tried to help if we needed anything. The rooms were very clean, and the mattresses were comfortable. Our room was exceptionally quiet, too. I remember reading a few concerning reviews about the area around the hotel, but we had no issues with the area. It was well lit and near many restaurants and major thoroughfares to get around Little Rock. There were a few issues that were out of anyone’s control. They are renovating the hotel so the water was periodically turned off, but the front desk clerk let us know when and it was always after we’d left for the day, so not inconvenient. The stairwell was a little messy due to the construction. Where I think there is room to improve: the shower curtain was too short so there was water on the floor after showering. My pillows were very flat. They looked normal until you put your head on them and then they flattened like pancakes. They also overbooked rooms with 2 queen beds, so we were unable to get the type room we’d reserved until the next day. We got a room, just not the right one. They did fix the situation the next day. So nothing terrible, and as I said, I’d stay there again for the great rate I got.
