Thayers Inn

Thayers Inn really exceeded my expectations. The historical nature of the hotel means that the rooms are a bit small, but very high in charm. The mattress was a bit old, but my wife and I slept comfortably. There was also lots of hot water, though the shower took some figuring out.

Thayer's in is good for the price. The building and rooms are quirky, but it legitimately adds charm, and the price accurately reflects the quirks. One example is that the building is heated with old-school forced hot water using antique cast-iron radiators. Very cute & cool, but rooms don't have their own thermostat, and the temperature swings wildly from low 60's to 80's. I woke up sweating in the middle of the night, and had to leave a window open in 30º weather to cool the room off enough to get back to sleep. Then it ended up too cold. I would stay there again if I needed to go to that area, I'm more than happy to put up with the quirks and limited staff hours to get a room at half the cost of the chain hotels a couple miles away that are not walking distance from all the cool stuff in downtown Littleton.

I loved my stay at Thayers Inn. I'm looking forward to another opportunity to stay there.

We enjoy staying at this old inn, but it does have a few quirks to it! GREAT location and very easy to walk around everywhere. The staff were all very kind and helpful as well. We will be back!

Stayed one night in a 2 room "suite" number 11. The smell was horrible, the door barely closed and there's loud noise from everywhere especially loud banging from the radiators and what sounded like buffalo running upstairs, back and forth. This place could be cute with a major renovation and some pride in ownership. Stay at one of the chains, they are at least clean and updated. This stay actually felt like a punishment.

We booked this after an impromptu trip to NH. Cute place for a weekend get away! Lodging was clean and very comfortable. Walkable (its on a main street)

Property was clean. staff was very friendly and helpful

Loved this cozy spot for the rich history behind it and its many surrounding restaurants. I enjoyed the creaky floors it sent me to another time 😁. I came during off season maybe it would be bothersome during a during season but i dont mind. comfy bed slept great!
