The hotel is sparkling clean. The staff was wonderful. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom is modern. The breakfast buffet is excellent. Our room has a sliding door and balcony. The price was very reasonable. Noting that the Air Conditioning in our room (307) and our friend's room (109) was undersized and did not cool the room. Fortunately, the outside night air got cooler so we opened the balcony door to cool off the room.

We stayed for two nights at "Filippos" and I was not impressed. On the positive side, the polite staff, the decent reception area, the parking lot. Now on the negatives. Complete lack of soundproofing, "distressed" rooms, poor cleaning of switches, knobs, TV remote control. The worst - the blanket you were forced to cover yourself with - UNACCEPTABLE. In all hotels, it is removed and there is some other covering or quilt. As for breakfast, there was a wide variety of products, however on one of the two days the croissants were almost raw, the bacon uncooked. The worst, however, was the water. It had an awful, metallic taste, apparently because of the container they had it in. No, I wouldn't suggest it.

I asked to turn on the a/c when we got back late at night and the front desk refused to serve me saying they still hadn't turned it on to the central cooling. The result was that I spent a large part of the night awake on the balcony because it was hot inside the room. Beginning of June and they haven't made sure there is a/c, for me it's a negative!!!

From the outside of the hotel, you wouldn't think you made the correct choice, and it does look a little run down, but from the moment you step inside, to the in-room experience, you will soon realize that you made the correct decision while staying in Livadia (according to maps). There is very little in walking distance, but the café just down the road towards the town has phenomenal pizza and wonderful desserts which my wife and I enjoyed while we were there. There is substantial parking located in the city-center, and we were able to easily get to restaurants to taste the local cuisine. I don't necessarily know if this town is a must see and stop by while touring Greece, but it was centrally located for our planned trips to the Battle of Thermopylae and Delphi.

Large spacious room. A real double bed (finally!). Towels, soap, shampoo, TV.... well equipped.
Very appreciated: the very generous and delicious breakfast.

Very nice hotel. Large and beautiful bedroom, with a living room area. Very decent buffet breakfast. The pool was obviously no longer in use by mid-October, but the water was greenish in color (a sign of poor maintenance). No catering for the evening. Supermarket very close on foot.
