Great!

Staying at this hotel is a prime example of how expectations can not match reality. I don’t know who and when gave the hotel a 5 star rating, but it’s a complete fake. I'll start with a few things I liked - free parking, good room size, good breakfast (although there are some nuances). However, that's where the positive ends. What I didn't like: 1. THERE IS NO HOT WATER IN THE HOTEL IN THE EVENING!!! After we discovered this, I called the reception and received a recommendation to open the tap for 5 minutes and wait. This did not help, then the reception simply said “sorry, this is the maximum water temperature in our hotel in the evening.” The water was cold. How can this even be? 2. The room is shabby and poorly cleaned 3. There was an unpleasant smell in the bathroom 4. The hotel is advertised as a "spa hotel". The spa is open with very limited hours and costs €40 per person. The indoor pool or sauna is not available to guests free of charge or during hours when the spa is not open. 5. When arriving at the hotel, no one told or showed what was available in the hotel. You have to ask everything yourself. 6. The gym is located in the basement with old equipment that is not very functional. 7. At breakfast, all egg dishes that are not on the buffet are paid. There is only scramble on the buffet. 8. Water was flowing from the ceiling in the corridor

The breakfast is very rich and the restaurant on the 5th floor is also the most delicious in the area.

The staff took excellent care of us. An example we had just got back to hotel and the restaurant had closed. But the bartender and the chef whipped up some delicious food even though they closed. They went above and beyond. Rooms are large and clean. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We had beautiful views of ocean

only negative I had is that carpet in the hallway made it difficult to push wheeled suitcase. everything else was perfect.

It was a very pleasant and beautiful stay. The location is gorgeous and the hotel is stunning as well. The hotel service was continuously kind and helped anytime we asked. Wonderful stay!

Beautiful grandiose hotel built in 1888. The high ceilings, the columns and the frescos are a glimpse into its glorious past. The rooms are nicely decorated with view of the seaside, which is just across the street. The breakfast offers many choices and is served in a lovely room. Fabiana greeted us every morning with her beautiful smile. The staff are professional and helpful. Great experience!

Hotel gate was closed for car to drive in when we arrived at 6pm. We had to park outside on the street and walked into hotel to ask them open the gate for us. There was only one staff doing check-in, we waited very long. It took us more than 30 minutes from parking to get the room key. Room is very clean. Shower is leaking. Water was all over the bathroom floor after 10 minutes’ shower.

Great hotel, excellent service, wonderful area, fantastic breakfasts and breathtaking views. Would highly recommend and would stay here again.

check in very unpolite and nobody to escort you to the room; missing valet service. bathroom super old with some broken pieces; towels very old and smelling bad; bed very uncomfortable with the two single mattress opening and missing topper. Overall not a 5 star, only the building is nice.
