El Far is special not just because the location is stunning and the historical site is magical and the room is spacious and the shower is incredible, but also because of the people. Olga made us feel like family. She looked after us, told us to relax, and we did. Highly recommended.

Nous avons diner au restaurant de l'hotel dans un cadre très agréable. le service est parfait et attentif. la "boulle" de pain à la tomate accompagnée d'huile d'olive La Petita est une très bonne mise en bouche. Le poisson du marché est toujours aussi délicieux, trop bon même pour y mettre du citron !

Es el mejor lugar del mundo para disfrutar y ser feliz. Gozar de los grandes momentos con personas especiales. Cuidan todos los detalles y son muy atentos. El alojamiento es único, cada habitación es diferente y te traslada a un placer inmenso. Para acabar el restaurante es increíble y tiene una cocina de kilómetro cero y de muchísima calidad. Con mi mujer hemos venido tres o cuatro ocasiones en los últimos años y ya tenemos la reserva para ir este verano nuevamente. El entorno natural es el colofón. Història, paisaje, mar, el amanecer, el faro....

Ayer nos apuntamos ala “garoinada”. Este menú especial sólo está disponible en la temporada de erizos de mar, entre enero y marzo. Aunque es un poco caro, el lugar merece una visita y la cocina está muy bien, sin grandes innovaciones. Cominos unas croquetas de bacalo y de sepia como entrantes, y un plato completo de garotas. De plato principal comimos arroz con sepia suave y en su punto. El postre era un poco demasiado ambicioso pero con demasiados ingredientes para mi gusto. Un quiero pero no llego. El servicio rápido pero un poco demasiado serio. El café lo tomamos en el exterior, y fue un acierto. Lo recomiendo! Los ventanales con vista al mar, lo mejor de todo.

The hotel was fabulous! Olga was incredible the entire visit. She gave great recommendations for restaurants and hiking! The dinner was very overpriced for what we received. I ordered lobster with rice and there was barely a mouthful of lobster. Breakfast was included and very nice. Minibar in the room was complimentary which was nice. Would definitely stay here again.

The restaurant is fantastic but it becomes very expensive once you factor in the possible traffic fine for using the hotel car park. To avoid the fine you must inform the reception of your car details and they have an arrangement with the local authority to inform them of those details so you don't get fined. If you use the public var park just below the hotel car park the same applies. The sign is in Catalan only despite most visitors to the top being foreign and despite the fact that the vast majority of them will not speak Catalan. I've seen some crazy things in Spain but this beats the lot. To be fined for leaving a public car park by the only possible exit route is plain daft. Why even have the car park there ? And why make this particular road for pedestrians only? It hasn't even got any buildings on the road. I've now racked up €800 in fines this summer. Beware !

Amazing experience! Olga and Berta were absolutely great! Olga helped us with everything, restaurants, excursions, etc The food at the restaurant was just ok. But the stuff was very good! Rooms are very clean

We had a spectacular experience at El Far. Starting with the warm welcome from Olga, she helped us every step of the way from charming conversation, restaurant recommendations, calling taxis and any other way she and the other staff could help us. The hotel is beautiful, the view is incomparable, and the setting is ruggedly gorgeous. Loved every bit of this place.
