Lovely afternoon had the food was beautiful on the evening. We all had a treatment to however I was disappointed with my facial. It was only 25 minutes and There were periods where I was led wondering if the therapist had left the room because nothing was happening and then I found out other members of the group had got a little arm and hand /shoulder massage whilst waiting for masks to set which left me feeling even more left out and disappointed

Visited the restaurant for lunch today. Excellent food and service. Good value. Food was fresh and delicious. Staff were able to cater for our food allergies (we had notified in advance). Fully recommend and will visit again. We sat outside for coffee in a very pretty garden

Gym staff unhelpful, deputy manager unhelpful. They just read from a script!! Woman behind bar in lunchtime miserable and rude. No I would not go to this hotel again, it’s looking tired, and god forbid if you take water from bar at bottom end of hotel overlooking pool, unbeknownst to me it was for a conference, and at that time I wasn’t feeling too well and just wanted a glass of water, this miserable bar maid told me to go to main bar for one!! Great when you aren’t feeling too good!

This place is getting very tired. We have stayed there a few times over the last 10 years but it is showing its age. Primary concern was the lack of heat in the bathroom. During our stay in June the outdoor temperature was around 15C. The hotel had turned the heating off because it was summer, and had no means of heating the towel rails. Room was on the small side and the TV must have been 20 years old. Will not be returning.

The staff here are all so helpful. I enjoyed a treatment at the spa and a swim etc. My room was lovely, overlooking the beautiful gardens. The bar menu could be better and not a fan of the low seating in the bar if eating there due the restaurant being closed Monday to Wednesday. The housekeeping is very good. A beautiful hotel in lovely grounds with the best staff !

Stayed for 4 nights as part of a conference. Want to say that the staff here are excellent and they go above and beyond to make your stay pleasant. Breakfast was delicious and the bar food also. I used the spa one night which was really enjoyable in the sauna and jacuzzi.

Hotel was lovely pool was great staff wasn’t the best not really welcoming didn’t explain how to get to rooms and when leaving didn’t ask if we enjoyed was really nice but staff welcome needs to improve booked restaurant starters was best ever but carvery was the worse we ever had the meats was so dry and the staff serving veg on a table spoon was embarrassing we needed to ask for more I did also get overcharged by bar every time we went for drinks the price would go up when I question it i did get refund but they made me feel that I was in wrong and in morning the girl behind bar didn’t even look at me hotel fab room spotless spa stunning staff left the hotel down apart from blonde women in reception she give us more information in 10 minutes that all the staff give us in 24 hours

Stayed at this hotel for a dance weekend. The food was good and and the room comfortable and spacious. We had upgraded to a Junior suite. The pool was good with a hot tub,steam room and sauna. Good location about 20-30 mins from Cardiff and 10mins from the M4. Overall a good hotel with good food.
