It was nice trip

Hotel is located very close to motorway junction. Easier for travellers for a nights stay. The hotel also have enough car parking space. Unfortunately the room I stayed had a very bad odour. The shower and toilet were also cramped but I dint mind as I was staying only for a night. Not ideal if you are staying for couple of days and planning to spend most of the day in the room.

The rooms were on small size not much space to put your luggage/bags. Toilet was very low down and smelly. However it’s a budget hotel and did the job. Reception Staff were very friendly and polite.

There were vans occupying the majority of the car park even though there was another car park for vans. When i questioned why they were allowing this the response was because they cannot enforce it !

The building itself is clean and tidy, the area outside of the property could do with tidying up.

We stayed one night at the Ibis. The greeting on reception was fine and the actual room although sparse , was clean and tidy, the shower unit gave lovely hot water and for that i have no complaints. Free wifi and good tv in room. Basic but comfy bed. We had no coffee in our room , so had to make do with tea, yes, I know we could have gone down to reception. My only area of irritation, was the corridors smelt dreadful with people not smoking in their rooms, but coming in to the corridors to do so, it gave the feeling of a seedy hotel, which it isn't. We found it really off putting. The hotel could do with some tlc outside , as you approach, it looks like a night in the Bronx . Having said all that , we paid £ 55 for the night room only, fantastic value for money.
