A lovely restful stay- excellent room, comfortable bed, great power shower. I enjoyed my meal in the restaurant: no dinky fine dining mini plates here- these are hearty country portions for hearty country appetites! To be honest, the desserts would easily feed 2 people - there was no way I could finish mine

Fantastic staff and a great inn of character with superb service from the desk, to the bar to the restaurant service. The rooms were excellent. Comfy beds and clean. Nice touch with the seductive lighting, adds a touch of atmosphere to the mood of the rooms. Definitely will return as this is a great base to tour out from.

Fantastic couple of days at the Cowdaw hotel, room was fabulous, very clean and spacious. The staff at this hotel are second to none, James, who worked the bar was so helpful in advising on drinks and food, amazing knowledge is a massive plus for this hotel. Food was was absolutely amazing, credit to the chefs. Front desk were so helpful and friendly, we knew straight away we would enjoy our stay. Thank you to everyone.

Lovely Hotel ............... Very good food - which always came out piping hot , also they make their own breakfast meusli - which again is excellent. The room was very clean and comfortable and also the hotel has friendly staff. Seemed busy with locals every day .....so thats always a good sign ! Hope to go there again sometime.

Stayed as attending a wedding locally. The hotel is great. The room was very nice indeed, a great size, comfortable bed and plenty of pillows too, which is not always the case in my experience. All the staff were lovely, very pleasant and helpful and would 100% stay again if in the area. One thing of note is that there are quite a few steps down from the car park to the reception area . They are quite steep, so it would be an issue to anyone with mobility issues

We have stayed there several times and always enjoy ourselves. Pleasant and helpful staff, always willing to adjust the menu to suit allergies and intolerance. Very well equipped, comfortable en suite bedroom. A traditional hotel with a classy atmosphere. Good free parking.

Lovely stay as usual . We have been visiting here for years and the standard is always the same . Food and service excellent … room clean and comfortable . Great nights sleep- we usually chose the rooms at the back as they are quieter but have stayed in the front too . We will be returning …again !

Very friendly and accommodating staff. We were able to check in early as we had a wedding to attend. Comfortable rooms. Good free parking. Nice breakfast with a good choice of menu. We would highly recommend this hotel to family and friends.
