When checking in to a hotel, be careful of the change of scenery. I booked a high-end room, but was downgraded. Figure 1 is a screenshot of the room reservation, and Figure 2 is the room arrangement after check-in. Very dishonest, and refused to apologize. It is even more difficult to understand that three orders were placed before and after, and I was asked to change rooms and move for three nights. What is even more bizarre and ridiculous is that the guest’s belongings were thrown away without authorization when the hotel room fee was fully paid and still in the stay. It is really a strange adventure in the history of hotel stays! If I come to Llandudno again, the Imperial Hotel must be excluded from the choice. There are all kinds of mistakes. Although Ctrip customer service negotiated and compensated, the impression left by various bizarre problems is difficult to eliminate, and it is incredible that there was no apology from the hotel when I checked out after so many bizarre mistakes. Of course, there is a blessing in disguise. Thanks to the poor service of the Imperial Hotel, we changed our itinerary and went to Chester to check in at the Chester Grosvenor Hotel in advance. The two hotels have similar prices, but the service awareness, service level and hotel environment, hygiene, facilities, and catering are worlds apart.

We just had an overnight stay but everything went swimmingly. Smooth, friendly chech in; lovely room with good space, two comfy arm chairs and a good view, spotlessly clean room and bathroom. Parking was easy. Nice restaurant with good choice of menu. Chef clearly respects his vegetables. Exceeded expectations.

The hotel was a delight. Staff were all fantastic. You had the feeling they all enjoyed working at the hotel. Despite the furnisher in the bed rooms being a little tired, the rooms and en-suites were huge, very clean with plenty of teas, coffees, hot chocolate, biscuits and bottled water. We had 3 of the cheapest rooms without a sea view but we were all pleasantly surprised by how nice they were. The terrace is lovely for food and drinks with views of the seafront. We ate in the restaurant for 3 meals, all of which were really great. Breakfast was also delicious with plenty of choice. We will definitely return next year.

Great traditional sea front hotel! Friendly reception and restaurant staff. Rooms really clean with everything you need! Breakfast spread is good. You get the feeling that management and staff are really making an effort in what is essentially an outdated building??!!
