Sea facing top room of hotel. Great view of beach and pier. Parking can be time consuming but not a big problem

Bad service concerning breakfast, need to order before 5pm….. I checked in at 9pm and stayed for 3 nights. I didn’t book any breakfast and went to the neighbors

Location of hotel was great as it’s positioned right on the seafront with easy access to the town. Really clean and well presented room with en suite shower room. Continental breakfast was great and staff were really friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

One of the worst night stays i have ever had. Place smelt horrible as walked in and the room smelt like really bad damp. My misses has bad lungs and stopping here made her worse. The painting in the room was somthing like mickey mouse would have done. Someone needs to go painting lessons and the bed board was held on with bits of metal and all the leather peeling off. The bathroom was bad as the side rail was hanging off the bath for disabled people and the whole bathroom smelt horrible aswell. Maybe the paint was hiding something. Staff were rude and did nothing when complained and the room was mot cheap. Stopped in another place on the second night and was better than this dump. The bed was hard, room stunk of mold and all out dated and really bad diy everywhere. Yuck

Lovely clean hotel.The room was excellent with a really comfortable bed and a great powerful shower.Excellent breakfast(included) of poached eggs on toast as well as various cereals an spreads,jams and more toast if required.Plenty of juices available.I will be returning.

Room with a sea view was very clean and bed very comfortable. Breakfast was nice a choice of eggs, fresh fruit, yogurts, cereals and pastries. Staff were amazing and very friendly. Only one gripe a barcardi and coke was £8.10 at the bar which I thought was a bit expensive. Will definitely stay here again. Thank you team Iris Hotel Jo & Steve

The worst place I have ever seen... its the first time I have ever checked in and out of in my life... ile make it short.. avoid at all costs... smells of damp.. damp in every room... dirty very dirty... very old building. things falling off everywhere you look... old dirty window's that bang... paint falling off the walls... not looked after at all... no WiFi anywhere at all... you can't eat or drink in your room for some strange reason... just a horrible place.. that's why I'm glad I didn't stay there .. in my opinion nobody should stay there... it needs knocking down... so glad I got a refund...

The only thing to like about this place was the location. Alarm bells started ringing as soon as we pulled up outside and realised looking at the exterior it was the worst hotel on the street. We booked in and were shown to our room in the annexe building, basically an outbuilding with rooms crammed in. The decor was dirty and dated with filler visible is several places. On closer inspection the bathroom was horrendous, absolutely filthy with mould and god knows what else growing in the shower and toilet. It smelt of damp and dirt. On removing his shoes my partner was left with a wet sock from a leaking radiator which we reported to reception. The maintenance man arrived 2 hours later and "fixed' the so called leak, a towel was placed on the soaking wet carpet!! The towel turned brown with the dirt that came out the carpet! Magners was advertised as 2 bottles for £5 on the drinks list in our room, we were £5.40 each!! When questioning the price we were told the price list was old!!

Lovely trip, great price, tasty breakfast and really nice scrambled eggs. Polite staff and will stay again definitely. Location is perfect: opposite the sea and promenade and the high street is just behind too. Thank you for a lovely stay.
