A wonderful place to stay. It was beautiful and peaceful, a little bit of Heaven on earth. Our room was spacious and beautiful, the view we had was tranquil. The food was delicious, we were treated like family and the family is wonderful. It is a wonderful place and would stay again

What a special place! Just to the west of the Brecon Beacons so a beautiful area and the Mill is surrounded by woods with a river gurgling within earshot. Our room was lovely with a balcony, a comfy bed and all we might need thought of. Hosts Helen and Matt were very friendly and even set a table for us to have our "picnic" supper one night in the breakfast area.

They had ample accommodations for our group of 11 family members. The place was so tranquil that the evening just relaxed, and rejuvenated us each night. The rooms had recently been updated. The place was spotless and tastefully decorated. The food was so delicious, and Helen and Matt were so helpful to make our meals and time there beyond belief. It was situated between all the places we wanted to visit. Llandybie, Llandeilo, Carmarthen, Kidwelly, Llanelli, Swansea, and Ammanford. The price was very reasonable for the wonderful accommodations and food. The rooms, beds, showers, meals, snacks, hosts, and atmosphere were just top notch. When I return to the area I will find a way to stay here again.

This is an amazing hidden gem. A delightful place to stay. Immaculate, clean, everything you need in a room and more! (A fridge with fresh milk & snack jar were a treat) Great hosts. Very welcoming & friendly. Couldn’t do enough. Beautiful location. Highly recommend.

Great stay at The Mill. Welcoming hosts, plenty of parking. Room amenities are very generous and welcoming. The alpacas are a bonus! Breakfast was great with plenty of options of continental and cooked items. A lovely place to stay and we will definitely return.

Was greeted with a warm welcome and made at home…The room was excellent… cleanliness of the room was exceptional and well supplied with goodies in a jar and a good selection of drinks. Surroundings are beautiful sat outside in the garden and listen to the river flowing very relaxing…..will be recommending to family and friends.

Just spent a very happy week in the self-catering flat here, its a return visit as it is a gorgeous spot to visit. The view from the rooms is over to the woods and is very tranquil. We were greeted by one of the alpacas on several days and they are a delight, as are the robins and blue tits that were just pottering about on the balcony. (When people talk about peaceful spaces this is what they should mean). The accommodation is spacious and very well appointed, comfortable beds, great shower and bathroom and a well equipped kitchen with large fridge and freezer. We opted for Helen's breakfast a couple of times as the spread she puts on which is standard for their b&b guests is amazing, delicious and very generous, with a wide variety of fruit, yoghurt, cereal, bread as well as cooked to order breakfasts (wish I had taken a photo of the table as it always looks so colourful and inviting). Feel very spoilt afterwards. Hosts are very friendly and knowledgeable about area whether its where to eat, what to visit etc and Helen also does catering if required. Will definitely be returning soon, the feeling of well rested and restored is wonderful.

We enjoyed a wonderful few days at The Mill. The room was fabulous and thoughtfully allocated. It is well decorated and the shower was great. Then there is breakfast - amazing! Everything was perfect and in a really relaxed way the Helen and Matt helped us far beyond any hotel service experienced. Thank you:) The Alpacas also provide a bit of extra viewing. We cannot recommend highly enough. We will be back,

This was the second time i have stayed at the Mill, over the years i have stayed at a lot of B&B's and the Mill is right up there at the top. The rooms are fantastic and everything you need is there, its the attention to detail that stands out. The beds are very comfortable and i had a great nights sleep both times. The breakfast in the morning set me up for the day, great coffee and a full cooked breakfast hit the spot. All the food is cooked to order and top quality, the location is beautiful and i will certainly be staying again when back down in this part of Wales. 10/10
