Premier Inn Llanelli Central West

Despite being made to a formula, Premier Inns are not all the same! After an horrendous stay at Premier Inn London Harrow (probably my worst hotel experience ever), PI redeemed themselves with a joyful stay at Llanelli West. Visiting for a friend's birthday there weren't many options open to us, so we hoped that this was a very different experience than our last. From the start it was so much better - a warm and friendly greeting (rather than a Harrow grunt) from a very helpful receptionist, a clean room in which everything worked and with 2 towels! The bed was very comfortable and the night staff also helpful. All in all it was a great experience from this budget hotel that revitalised my opinion (still avoid London Harrow like the plague)!

We stayed for one. Out on Easter Sunday as we were heading to the racing at Ffos Las as part of our Easter weekend break. We’d planned to arrive early and head over to the station to get the shuttle bus but we were too late (all our own doing)! Anyway our attempts to get a taxi failed but the fabulous chap on reception tried all the local taxi companies until he eventually got Justin (who was an absolute legend for the day!) and we were finally away in plenty of time. When we got back in the evening we checked in, our room was good and sizeable, comfy bed and pillows, great value for money. We didn’t have breakfast at the sandpiper but hubby had some snacks before bed which were just the job. A great stay, super, super staff.

Great hotel run by super positive and friendly staff. Clean and comfortable rooms as always. Very central to Llanelli and the M4. With a very nice Beefeater right by a lake. I’m now running out of stuff to put as it has to be a minimum of two hundred

Great location with decent size car park, clean rooms and spacious, friendly receprion staff. The best thing was the shower. Beds are a little firm but was a decent night sleep. We travelled for a gymnastics competition so it was just the one night. Would use again

Pretty good location for exploring South Wales. Nice walks around Sandy Water Park and beyond. Usual standards of food and service offered at neighbouring Brewers Fayre pub. Room could benefit from usb charging points at plug sockets. VisitThe Kilkenny Cat on Wednesday evenings (9pm ish) for open mic night and York Palace (Wetherspoons) converted cinema.

Well where do I start ,amazing staff,myfanwy on reception very polite and super friendly, all the housekeeping staff couldn't do enough for us, especially lowri ,breakfast was exceptional gazing over a lake ,beach is a 5 minute walk away a small hotel with big personalities 😀

On arrival Jayne was very efficient booking me in as i was in rush to get to a job and helpful with directions, My room was very clean and the friendly house keeping staff were very good when I asked an extra towel, teas, sugar and milks Ellouis was very helpful. Nice peaceful location brilliant sleep stayed for 3 nights, would recommend to anyone thank you

The minute we walked through the door we were welcomed by a lovely lady on reception (sorry we didn't catch her name). Our room was a great size, room 107, and was spotlessly clean. We saw several members of staff and were really pleased to see how genuinely friendly and happy they are. They are a real credit to the manager of the hotel. We did not have an evening meal at the hotels restaurant but we did eat breakfast the following morning which was delicious. Lovely and hot and a great selection. Thankyou to each and every one of you for making our stay so memorable. We will definitely stay again when in Llanelli next

Rooms are great beefeater next door food was good and staff are great but last order 9.30 pm all week so if working late and want a drink not the place to be as closed at 10 o'clock at least with Holliday in the times stated is times open at least with Holliday Inn the times stated is the times are open don't change there mind depending on the month
