The outside environment is beautiful, the room is clean and tidy, the room size is not very large, but the basic equipment is complete. The hotel is located in the forest, self-driving is more convenient, and it is suitable for vacation travel.

The hotel has been renovated since my last visit. At first it gave a good impression. But, the room was not the one I booked. They gave me the key to a small suit, in stead of the large suite I had payed for. The room had some sort of stinking purfume sticks in the room. The beds weer too soft. The soap was some sort of foam, and not a gel. It was also far too smelly. The area that used to be the main resturant, was now reserved for breakfast. What used to be a very nice lounge was now the resturant. I have to admit everything was clean, and the staf were very pleasent.

We had a really nice stay - only one night, travelling through, wish we could have stayed longer! One of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. The large swimming pool was very clean and empty when we there. Nice bar with pool table and very friendly staff. Pleasant 15 minute walk through the forest to get to the centre. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel itself is nice, the location is beautiful, the scenery is top notch. This review is focused towards the staff of this location. The front desk, the kitchen, the service staff. The hospitality I received from the staff during my stay was beyond any that I have ever received in the countless hotels that I've stayed in this world. The understanding and care speaks volumes to the Dutch people or just the people of this staff. I wish I had the means to show my appreciation to you all with more than kind words. Thank you for listening, thank you for caring. Don't let my decision change who you all are.

As we couldn't go abroad for vacation so we found this hotel for a few days off. The hotel is located in a nice woody area. Clean room, friendly staff and good breakfast in our room. For the covid-19 prescription, we needed to make an appointment for the breakfast time. We took it from the buffet and brought it to our room. The restaurant looks a bit outdated but the middle part with the fireplace is classic, beautiful!. It's recommended for the ones who like to walk in the nature or mountain biking as the area behind the hotel is a bit hilly.

We had also been there 20 years ago, and were very enthusiastic then. But now... The same carpet was still there, and it had certainly not improved. Fortunately, the room was still as spacious, but we were told at reception that it would not be cleaned during our stay due to a shortage of staff. We were able to get clean towels, but otherwise no form of apology or compensation. Breakfast was also a disaster, due to a lack of staff: every time there was something left that was not replenished, 1 coffee machine with a long line of people waiting, tables that you had to clear yourself. The dinner was also of mediocre quality, we discovered too late that in addition to the paper menu with 4 main courses, there was a digital menu (QR code) that offered much more choice... Fortunately, the area was still as beautiful as it was back then, so we still had a few nice days. We'll go again in 20 years to see if the carpet is still there.
