The fifth night of our NC500 road trip. We arrived mid-afternoon and drove up the steep drive to this somewhat oddly designed 'dated' low-level hotel with views over the town and loch. However, don't be put-off by the external appearance. This is a top class hotel with great rooms, service and food. We settled-in and went to the bar feeling a little peckish only to be informed that there was nor food service until six. I expressed disappointment and moments later, the barman came with a menu and said he was sure they could rustle something up. Ham and cheese toasted sandwiched arrived ten minutes later accompanied by a couple of glasses of Chardonnay really hit the spot! Dinner later that evening was fabulous at a table with a superb view over the loch. We slept well in out large comfy bed and breakfast was also superb served on white quality Wedgwood china! A special note about the staff - Polite, friendly and efficient. This is a great place!

Bellissime la stanza e le sale comuni. Sala ristorante per la cena e la colazione con vista fantastica sul mare. Ottima la qualità dei prodotti sia della colazione che della cena. Personale attento e disponibile. Da tornarci.

First: The staff of this Hotel is very very professional and friendly. This is the best part of my feedback and experience. Second: The hotel was a big disappointment. I suppose to stay at tipycal Scottish Lodge instead we had an anonimal hotel, poor decoration with room like a budgent hotel in Spain or south of Italy. The value we pais was not worth. We had a trouble with our car and the staf was soo helpful and kind to find a solution for us. This make our stay better. Thank you team!

Don't let the 70's style building put you off this gem. When we arrived we felt we were being welcomed into their family. The hotel is on a hillside with great views over the harbour and loch, especially the setting sun. The food was delicious and all freshly cooked to order.

Having stayed at Inverlodge hotel ,two or three times a year for many years . I would just like to clear up a few negative comments made on some reviews .one the dog situation I own four dogs all well trained working dogs and would not leave them unattended in a strange room nor would I impose them on other guests in public areas who may not be a dog lovers .Two price I think is fair given the standard of hotel and it only has a 6 month season to keep it a float for a year ,given its remote location .A big thank you to all the team for a great stay

Overall we enjoyed our experience at the hotel but there are definitely improvements that could be made. The staff were so friendly and very polite. I had a great talk with a lady at the desk and enjoyed just chatting. The breakfast was nice, but small portioned. The views were incredible and I'd go again for these alone. We opened our curtains to a family of dear outside our window, which blew my mind. There are definitely areas to improve. I think it's very pricey and I think bringing the prices down slightly that would definitely leave people with a sweeter feeling leaving and would prompt more people to return. It is advertised as dog friendly, but I'd say it's more dogs allowed. Dogs aren't allowed in the bar or dining areas which would be understandable, but they also aren't allowed on their own in the rooms, so you're expected to put your dog in the car when you're using those facilities. I think not having the dogs in certain areas is understandable, but I think there's more you could do to accommodate this. So either, taking a security deposit for those with dogs in case there are accidents etc, so people can leave their dogs in the room and enjoy your dinners/bar etc. This would even be better for you as we ended up eating and drinking somewhere dog friendly in town rather than with you. Or if that's not an option, why would you not offer room service? Our room had seating and a table, we would have loved to have dined with you, in our rooms, looking at the amazing view. I think it's worth a thought. Thank you :)

Having just been to Inverlochy Castle and The Torridon , I was a bit apprehensive when we pulled up in front of Inver Lodge. What the hotel lacked in kerb appeal it made up with service, cleanliness and food. We had the best meal yet on our NC 500 trip. Anyone looking for a stop enroute, should definitely stay here. A wee hidden gem indeed.

My Husband and I visited Inver lodge Hotel as part of the North Coast 500. We had along the way, visited Inverlochy Castle and The Torridon. Although this place isn’t aesthetically pleasing to look at it had fantastic welcoming staff, was spotlessly clean and the food was , by far, the best we had tasted. If you are planning on a trip to The North Coast 500 then do make a put stop here! You won’t be disappointed.
