Gutes Inhaber geführtes Hotel. Freundliches Personal. Saubere aber etwas sehr in die Jahre gekommene Zimmer und Frühstücksräume.
Das angeschlossene Restaurant bietet hervorragendes Essen in ausreichend großen Portionen (hier wird jeder satt).

Wir hatten ein richtig schönes Wochenende in diesem Hotel. Das Komfort-Zimmer war geräumig und gut ausgestattet. Es lag im 2. Stock und hatte einen schönen Blick über das Dorf. Das Essen im Restaurant war super und der ganze Service wirklich sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir hatten das Arrangement "Komposition der Liebe" gebucht und das war wirklich ein sehr gutes Angebot, inkl Sekt und Obst auf dem Zimmer und einem sehr leckeren 4 Gänge Menü. Das einzige, was uns etwas gestört hat, war, dass der hoteleigene Parkplatz am Wochenende abends immer voll belegt war.

The hotel has a long history. Unlike other places in Europe, it does not look dated on the inside and the owners have taken time to keep it modernized. No AC, but didn't need it. Has a fine dining restaurant and bar. Free parking is a big plus, it fit a full size pickup. There is also a toy corner in the lobby for those with children. Although we hardly saw anybody under 60, the place is family friendly. Location is close to Weilburg and Wetzlar for day trips. Hotel and restaurant take credit cards (not just cash and the German debit EC). Hotel also has a spa and procedures, but we didn't use them. Breakfast is alright.
