Looking for a twin room to crash in, after a long flight, we happened upon this through an online booking site. Whilst not cheap, it appeared reasonable value for a late booking in a fairly central location. Pictures can say a 1000 words, but they can also misrepresent. This place looked basic but clean online, but I can assure you it was neither. First impressions - dirty beds, used towel (additional to two clean ones), rat bait stations in every corner of the room, TV was there but unoperational as aerial had been cut, waste bin battered to the point it couldn't be opened, ensuite bathroom disgusting - not tempted to shower, as beside evident filth, water pressure barely adequate to wet a toothbrush. I took a chance and slept in my bed while my wise daughter opted to sleep closed on top of hers. Morning couldn't come quick enough. 10 am checkout, no problem at all. We were out by 0730.

So we booked in this hotel to visit family in the area we knew it was 2 stars but the standard of basic upkeep were so amiss we considered leaving middle of the night. As we arrived we walked into the pub much to the glare of locals and were given keys to be ushered up a fire escape out back to the hotel entrance dodgy to say the least. The corridor outside our room is nothing but a trip hazard see photos and as we entered their pictures of the room have been greatly exaggerated and isn’t the photo shown. It’s not what you get. The room is a box but that’s not the main issue the bed although has a comfy mattress has a worn out duvet as thin as a piece of paper, the provided breakfast is 4 boxes of cornflakes in your room but we had no milk provided not even for tea and coffee. The teabags on our room had been used and not replaced and they evidently didn’t check because one of the mugs was still dirty. The shower is broken, and comes with two used bottles of shampoo and soap, floor is stained and has no drain, the wall in the shower is falling off and the extraction fan covered in dirt, floors weren’t clean either so I have doubts the bed we slept in was even clean it’s disgusting everything smelled musty. Your above a pub garden so you expect some noise but even after closure all you Can hear is screaming, shouting and traffic. The TV hadn’t been checked evidently because the previous guest has left his YouTube logged in and his very explicit sexually orientated video searches cropped up (good thing we didn’t have kids with us) The staff don’t attempt to be welcoming it’s as simple as give your key, bark some directions at you and send you upstairs. When we asked how late we can return we got a deer in headlights look and told to use the back gate. No WI-FI password of information provided either. Honestly for what we paid we were extremely disappointed, jut because you 2 stars doesn’t mean a basic clean is out of the question. We won’t be returning and we recommend nobody else used here there’s better places elsewhere.

Raj was very helpful on arrival. The room could’ve been cleaner, skirting boards, and plug hole was full of hair. Room was comfortable and we both slept well, was very quiet. For the price and location it was good and we would come back. Easy parking opposite at Sainsburys

Super friendly Raj, so welcoming. Gave us a guided tour of the immense premises. Bar had a fine selection of beers and spirits to suit all tastes and the locals were super welcoming. The rooms were amazingly adequate for our requirements. 🦖🦥🌮

What a great little find. Can't fault the place for what we paid. Old-fashioned boozer and comfortable rooms above it. Owner really friendly and welcoming. The only issue I have is that there was no breakfast despite it being advertised with one. Don't know if that is an issue with ********** or the hotel. Apart from that if you're in London and need cheap accommodation near to the underground then get on this. We're already booking again for next year.

Great location. The hotel is right across a shopping plaza including a supermarket, mini-mart, Subway, McDonald, coffee shop etc. it is close to subway train station and bus stops. It is also few kilometres away from St Pancras Central train station. The hotel is clean and staff are friendly, flexible and accommodating. Price is very reasonable considering amenities mentioned.

Disappointing hotel overall. Pretty run down, room was fairly small. Location was good, just a 10 minute walk to the underground station. For me the worst thing was that the hotel advertised a free continental breakfast - well that turned out to be just a couple of boxes of cornflakes and some milk in the room! Got only one cereal bowl as well - apparently to share between hubby and myself. No spoons for it, but got spoons for the tea/coffee so probably just wanted to save on the washing up.

The property’s location is great because it is right across a shopping plaza. The staff are polite.
