Excellent location right on Kensington high st. Near the metro station and lots of bus stops around. There's a waitrose right beside it which was just great and convenient. Walking distance from Notting Hill and Hyde Park. Staff were very friendly. We had a 2-br unit which was huge and clean. Complete kitchen equipment for cooking.
The only downside was the timing, full renovation was going on at the entrance. They had to fully close it halfway our stay and we had to enter/exit through the basement parking which made it a bit of a hassle. Also, after check out, needed to use the toilet which apparently they didn't have. The staff merely told me "No toilet", shrugged and offered no alternatives whatsoever. This was before an hour & a half car ride to the airport so imagine my torture. If this was the case, having no public toilet, you should be prepared to have alternatives (e.g. where the nearest public toilet is at). The staff didn't offer help, they just told me "try the restaurants around".

Monarch House was a tremendous place to stay in Kensington. Location was perfect, accommodations everything we needed and the service from the staff over the top. We will be back on our next stay in London. Thanks to the concierge staff for all their help.

Voor ons was dit appartement perfect.Alle comfortabele het appartement zelf. Gelegen op een centrale ligging met alle benodigde winkels en restaurants binnen handbereik. We waren met gezin met 6 personen en een ieder heeft alleen maar lof.

Monarch House is simply the perfect place to stay in when visiting London. All the staff (managerial, reception desk, house help) are doing their utmost to render your stay very comfortable and relaxing. They are always ready to answer to any of your request at any time of the day and the night. Simply very professional and dedicated to their job.

Excellent standard of accommodation coupled with excellent front of house service. The rooms are spacious, fully equipped and maintained to a high standard. The location is good for transport and restaurants and pubs. Highly recommended

The check in procedure was very efficient n fuss free . We were very happy that our room was ready as we had arrived about an hour prior to our official check in . Well done for this . The apartment was also very well equipped especially in relation to the kitchen equipment n appliances . Overall a very pleasant experience

Monarch apartments is definitely a first class home away from home. The relaxing ambience and beautifully equipped apartments allow travellers to totally unwind after enjoying the sights of London and beyond. Superbly located in High St Kensington it is close to the High St Kensington tube, Waitrose and M and S supermarkets as well as major tourist attractions such as Kensington Gardens and the palace.

Amazing place. The apartments were very comfortable and the location was outstanding. Only a few minutes from the Tube and across the street was Holland Park. Every service you would need within a block. The entrance and building were like an Oasis when you come back every day with a long garden type entrance. Staff were all exceptional (particular shout out to our first contact - Dennis who was friendly and most helpful). This is the only place we will stay in London from now on.

Pros- Location,Safety,Clean,Quiet,Unit size,staff & 24 hour front desk Cons- Mgt.Co. has policy that nickle & dimes you & website is vague on some charges. Instruction documents of HVAC, shower, coffee maker, TV, wash/dryer (useless) would be helpful, as would maps & brochures & knowledge of local area by staff.
