Zedwell Capsule Hotel Piccadilly Circus

Try to avoid this capsule hotel, the amenities is so basic (no proper storage for the luggage, rain shower will make you wet in the entire shower cubicle) no pantry, no public lounge and you need to pay £15 to leave each of your luggage after checking out

Location was extraordinary, kinda hard to find because of the lack of signs. Was clean and quiet place. Definitely worth to take. I’ll stay there in my next trips hopefully.

Staying for 2-3 nights is ok Shower is not good because no press no water, so you need to press with one hand and other hand to shower. Good thing is the bed is very comfortable and clean,had a good sleep and the neighbours are very quiet. And a perfect location. Bad is the shower as I mentioned, no hairdryer also a bit stinky in bathroom. No hair conditioner.This capsule hotel has only rooms and shower, not like others also provide a public space to work or heat up food. Also I think it’s better to put 2-3 hair dryers per bathroom. And the space is really small so if you have big luggage I don’t recommend. There’s only 2 hanger in the room to hang bags or clothes. Others you can put at the end of your bed so you have more space. I would say it’s value for money and good for solo traveller, for a short stay. * if you forget to bring slippers they have a vending machine in the lobby which you can buy slippers, water and stuffs.

Be warned this is not a hotel but a hostel that is incomplete(underconstruction 50% complete). Some areas like the lobby and hallway are ok until you enter the area. Incomplete construction of the room across was seeing an empty floor that is not secured. They advertise a/c in the capsule but is actually only a low blowing and dirty fan that you cannot control. You will be in a sauna. The capsule linen is run down with holes and very dirty underneath. No towels are provided but they do have 2 in 1 shower and body wash which is not clear in the amenties. No kitchen or water available. The washroom/shower area is not designed very well as the toilets do not have hooks or a place to hold your clothing, showers are push button with a 10-15 second timer and the water sprays to the clothing holding area so be careful of your slippers/shoes getting wet. The hostel is still under construction with workers in the emergency stairwell. The two elevators have separate call systems so pushing one button only works for that elevator and during checkout will be stuff with people so you could be waiting for awhile. Service is non-existent that only exists at the start to check you in. No intro of anything or in the qr guide of sitting area, amenties, storage, how to use capulse(how the lock works). I reported an issue with a hand dryer constantly turning on randomly for the past 2 days and they said they issued someone to fix it for 2 days but they couldn't fix it or bother taking it out of order. The storage is a free for all with no labelling who owns which. It's only better than a hostel due to location and you have your own capsule but the walls are only slighly thick to block sound.

Great location and I felt very safe as a female traveller, especially with the security outside. I really enjoyed our floor, it was very quiet and conveniently close to the bathrooms, but not so close that you could hear everything. The lock was a bit difficult to work so make sure you double check it before you leave the capsule.

Superb location in Piccadilly Circus if you plan to watch musicals and also close to many train stations to different lines. Make sure to bring slippers and a towel. Would be great if they provided a hairdryer and more lugggae storage space. The bed itself was quite comfortable.
