I request that this review be considered carefully, as the overall experience caused significant stress to my family and was not handled professionally by the apartment operator. 1. Last-Minute Booking Changes & Relocation Stress Initially, my family booking was confirmed for Canning Town. Shortly before check-in, Viridian Apartments cancelled this booking, citing water leakage repairs. They then asked us to accept a short one-bedroom apartment, which was completely unsuitable for my family. I clearly informed them that this was unacceptable. Only after repeated insistence and pressure did they offer an alternative apartment in Wembley. This sudden relocation, after travel planning was already completed, caused unexpected stress and anxiety, especially while traveling with family. This is not an experience I expect from a professional accommodation partner listed on Trip.com. 2. Serious Hot Water & Shower Failure (Entire Stay) During our stay at Viridian Wembley Apartments (26–28 December 2025), we experienced a continuous hot water and shower failure: Hot water suddenly turned cold during showers Children were unable to shower properly The issue persisted throughout the entire stay The problem was reported promptly during the stay, with photos and written explanations provided. From "Home Away From Home" to "A Horrible Experience": Why Such a Vast Difference Between British Apartments? A family of four, carrying good impressions of British serviced apartments, stayed here from late July to early August. However, their six-day, five-night experience shattered all their previous positive feelings. In the previous apartment, laundry pods were readily available, toilet paper was endless, and oil, salt, and sugar were neatly arranged in the kitchen, as if they were worried about their meals. In this apartment, two rolls of toilet paper were supposed to last the family of four six days, and the washer's drying function was a complete disaster—running for over two hours, the clothes were still soaked, and the machine didn't generate any heat (see attached photo for proof). The supplier even tried to justify it by saying "there are too many clothes to dry in batches," but the problem is, it doesn't even heat up! No matter how many times you dry the clothes, they just end up smelling musty. And for this, two laundry pods were considered "complete"—the cost-saving measures under large corporations have even omitted basic functions; truly masterful use of efficiency! The previous apartment had a mattress that was just the right firmness, curtains that blocked out the light so we could sleep in, and a smooth-opening balcony door. This one, however, has a mattress so soft it feels like sinking into mud; it's unsettling for both adults and children. My husband and I ended up squeezing onto the sofa bed in the living room, and to make matters worse, there wasn't a curtain in the living room (one of the attached photos shows a curtainless area), so the sun was blazing in our faces at 6 AM. As for that huge balcony? The hinges were long gone; pushing the door open was nerve-wracking, fearing we'd be crushed by it (see attached photos, this is no exaggeration). Not to mention the overall damage—curtains, dining table, cabinets—all bear the marks of time, a far cry from the "brand new" look in the promotional photos (see attached photos). The most disheartening thing is the water heater. In the previous apartment, we never worried about running out of hot water; in this one? With four people taking turns showering, waiting half an hour after each person finishes is the norm. After providing feedback, they said they'd fix it the next day, but the repair resulted in an error code (see attached image). In temperatures between 14 and 18 degrees Celsius, the whole family took a shower with ice water. When we called them that evening to ask why they hadn't mentioned it beforehand, they casually replied, "Forgot." Oh, and by the way, the elevator was out of service, as mentioned by previous guests, so we "experienced" it as promised—we've covered all the "special services." While some serviced apartments in the UK are like "home away from home," others feel like temporary shelters prone to problems. This place isn't about adding relaxation and enjoyment to your holiday; it's about immersing yourself in how to overcome every single issue.

It was my first time to call and ask you to buy it yourself. 😫There is also an indoor temperature. It couldn't be adjusted at all. In the end, even the remote control had no power. There were only 2 garbage bags. I wonder if most people in these apartments can cook? Does the house owner think that 2 garbage bags for 5 days is enough? The room has already been checked out after 4 o'clock and check-out has to be done before 10 o'clock😓I will not check in again next time and will not recommend it to friends😩

The apartment is spacious and cosy. However, the door to the balcony cannot be locked. The elevator was out of service on the last two days and we needed to carry 5 large luggage cases down to the ground floor from the 4th floor. Moreover, it was also difficult for the senior member of my family went down the stairs!
