The Ebrington Hotel

The hotel is ideally located only a 10 minute stroll from the railway station.  Ebrington Square is historic, full of atmosphere and buzzing with character - just like the hotel itself.  The staff were friendly, very welcoming and very efficient. The bedroom and bathroom were spacious and spotlessly clean.We didn't eat dinner in the restaurant but the breakfast was excellent -great choice and fresh local ingredients. On our Saturday night visit, the Corner House bar was hiving with live music and a happy crowd enthusiastically dancing - a little too much for us on this occasion. The hotel caters for every taste though - the Drawing Room piano bar offered a different environment with enormous comfy chairs and sofas, a talented pianist playing calming music against the happy background buzz of conversation around the room.  We had a totally relaxing stay and would definitely return - maybe taking in a spa break the next time!

I had a lovely stay at the Ebrington Hotel. I was pleasantly surprised to find a vegan breakfast option, which I really enjoyed, and the vegan curry in the Cornerstone Bar was also excellent. The hotel is in a great location on the waterside, just a short walk across the Peace Bridge to the city side. The staff were very friendly, and my room was clean and comfortable.

This hotel was amazing, very clean, and professional the staff at the hotel are amazing friendly and so welcoming day and night there wasn't one member of staff that weren't willing to make your stay as comfortable as possible thank you 😀

From moment you step into the hotel and are greeted by "Gerry" who can't do enough for you to the moment you leave, the treatment is 5 star. The rooms are very clean and comfortable with stunning views if you choose the river view option. The staff are so friendly. We were served by Luis in the bar who made us feel so welcome. Sam served us in the restaurant for dinner which was beautiful and made the whole experience amazing and Ella who served breakfast again so friendly and welcoming. The breakfast choice covered everyone and again delicious. We dealt with Emma at reception when we decided to book an extra night and she upgraded us for free and gave us a a lovely package. We can not fault anything here. Derry itself is amazing and the hotels location is ideal for walking the city. We can't wait to go back. Thank you to all the staff. They made our 20th wedding anniversary very special. They even left chocolates in our room and a card wishing us a happy anniversary. Definitely a 10/10 from us.

What a fantastic atmosphere and vibe. Warm staff, fantastic rooms, lovely food and amazing cocktails and service. Went with friends and had an absolute ball, 12 min walk across Peace Bridge for Waterloo street IF you wanted to go there but bars around the hotel are fantastic as well with live music and entertainment. Can't wait to go back
