Very good location staff very helpful had there own carpark and very convenient to all the shops bars and restaurants

I have always wanted to stay here and eventually talked hubby into it on bank holiday weekend. Immediately struck by how shabby sofas were in foyer which have seen better days. Booked in at three pm and room was thirty minutes late so had to wait. View in room was brick wall looking into other rooms. Bathroom was disabled which we did not require, and smelled like a damp wet room. Bed was a small double with very little room to turn in and throughout the night the room was roasting so got very little sleep. Spent day in town and on plus side hotel is very central. Returned in evening and ordered food at bar around 8pm. We were told there would be a forty five minute wait which we didn’t mind. We received our food at twenty past ten! We would have cancelled but it was pouring outside and I have arthritis so couldn’t walk very far in the search for another venue. Fish and chips were dry and crispy as they’d obviously stood under heat lamp for ages. We are so easily pleased and never ones to complain and were disgusted by the way some guests spoke to staff throughout our day but now realise why they did. The staff were so nice and friendly I felt for them. I left an expensive pair of shoes behind and immediately emailed only to be told they were not found! How can this be? I will never return to this hotel and I am so disappointed in the whole experience. Ruined a well deserved break with my husband.

We ate there waiting nearly and hour for our food. When you order a pizza in a hotel and pay 14.95 you expect to get a homemade pizza not a 1.50 Iceland box pepperoni pizza terrible for a hotel. Plenty of suits standing leaning against reception shouting at the waiting staff who looked quite young pity they didn't roll up their sleeves and help serve food and drink in the bar area. Only saving grace was a pleasant young girl who was waiting our table god love her.

Checked in late and offered credit card to have on file we were told it’s ok!!! Water in bathrooms cold!!! Noise at night in foyer deafing!! Reception staff rude Reception Rang in morning of check out to come down and pay bill. We did that and they only took part payment then continued to harass guests in other rooms that were on the same booking to check out and pay bill!! Manager ran away when we were checking out an left rude staff to answer questions which they couldn’t answer Not clean throughout

Not a bad place! It is in desperate need of some TLC and an overhaul, but the staff are really friendly and professional. Have stayed here quite a bit with work and never had cause to complain, however the rooms are lacking some TLC. The hotel is very popular with tour groups and is often rammed, but is relatively quiet considering its central location. Ideal for breaks to Derry, it's minutes walk of most attractions and many of the rooms have views of the city walls/River Foyle/Peace bridge. The hotel offers several catering packages and room upgrades and boasts a pretty incredible rooftop terrace. There are also rooms to suit all budgets, including executive and suites. The food is well worth the prices and breakfast is good quality along with good choice. There is a fully stocked bar with a range of drink options. There is a full health club along with steam room, pool and gym. Car parking is under the hotel. Withing a few minutes a walk are all the attractions of Derry along with all the amenities you need (take aways, supermarkets, restaurants, bars etc). There is a regular transfer coach within 5mins walk which takes you to Belfast city and Belfast airports (city & International) as well as south of the border into mainland Ireland. The hotel is fully accessible throughout with lifts available to all facilities and all floors. Generally an all round good hotel, just lacking in TLC
