Brilliant service didn’t arrive until 12 in the morning , welcomed with great enthusiasm, Michelle took care of all our breakfast needs with us being from Spain we where unsure what we would have liked and Kadie the manager gave us the perfect big room ! If we come back we wouldn’t look anywhere else than the maldron

A well located property, but having stayed in other Maldon hotels, I couldn’t believe this was the same chain. I’d stayed in the Cork on a few days before, and it was lovely, but this was like something else. Room smelled like a greasy spoon Café, fittings, hanging off wall in bathroom, TV remote with flat batteries, stains on carpet. No staff to greet for breakfast. Hard croissants. It was mercifully cheap, but I think I could see why. That said, it was quiet and well located for Derry centre.

Room was freezing cold, windows wide open when it was 4 degrees outside. Radiator in our room didn't work, staff argued that it did. They even suggested that we didn't know how to turn the radiator on. I'm 56 years of age. Wouldn't show us an alternative room, they were too busy.
Staff member came and checked radiator and hey-presto it didn't work. Moved from executive double room to a standard double. No refund on the difference in price!!

We stayed at the Maldron over the St Patricks day weekend and it was the greatest experience. Central to everything and couldnt reccommend it enough. We dealt with Kadie Mellon for our booking, she made everything easy for us specially with a 16 month old child. She made sure we had everything we needed the whole time and looked after us really well. The food was amazing, i would definitely stay there again.

I stayed at the Maldron hotel Derry for 2 nights in April 2024 . I attended a work conference nearby . I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the room . The stay was amazing. However after the stay when I arrived back in Dublin , I realised that I had left a bag . I was dreading so much the big drive back up to Derry again. Katie , the front office manager was so helpful. She recommended a courier. Katie went to so much effort boxing and labelling the bag. I could not get over the level of customer service . I will definitely book a Maldron hotel again in future.

Had an amazing stay at the Maldron. Staff were absolutely amazing would like to thank Kadie and Caolan especially. Staff had upgraded my room was very thankful for that and they always ensure a pleasant stay. Looking forward to my next stay already !

We had my wedding reception at the Maldron Hotel this month, and after almost 2 years of planning and coordinating with the brilliant Chiree, we can say it was the best experience we could have ever wished for! Chiree went above and beyond to ensure we were happy with the food, music, decor, and listened to every single request we had for our special day. Everyone at the hotel went above and beyond to make our stay memorable and accommodate our friends and family, and we couldn't imagine celebrating our special day anywhere else. Thank you so much to the entire team at the Maldron, we will be back!

Myself, family & Friends attended the fun day the hotel had on for St Patrick's Day & I have to say it was amazing! There was so much going on from Food, music, Irish dancing, face painting, dancing etc everyone of all ages had the best day & we'll definitely be going back next year l. Thank you to everyone at The Maldron Hotel for the experience & memories 😊💚☘️
