We visited the Belfray for a carvery on Sunday past. The food and service was brilliant we were all very pleased! I wanted to leave a review for Annettey spaghetti the kids club lady! She is something else, so attentive to the children and full of life and great spirit that rubbed off on us. A real asset to The Belfray she entertained not only the children but did karaoke and had great fun with us adults! Thank you.

Geraldine and her wonderful team at the Belfrey looked after us all so well as a party of 23 for a 60th. Food was excellent. Staff were friendly. There was a man singing in the bar after so we were well entertained and had a fab night.

A warm welcome on a dark blustery night just outside Derry. We called ahead to check restaurant times. Kitchen would be closed when we arrived but they kindly made us sandwiches for our later arrival which we enjoyed with a smooth pint of the black stuff. Lovely breakfast next morning and on our way. A pleasure to stay here.

Excellent hotel. The staff are a credit, from receptionist to the cleaning staff, everyones like family. We had dinner one evening, anyone we spoke too recommend eating in the hotel and at breakfast the teapot didn't get a chance to go cold it was topped up so much. We definitely were were well looked after. Nice location close to the city. Close to kingsbridge hospital derry too.

Staff (especially May/Jessica) were very friendly and helpful and went over and above. Room was spacious and clean but decor very outdated and tv wasn't working. Bed very comfy. Had a steak dinner asked for well done, got a medium. Fry Up in the morning was delicious 👌

We stayed at the Belfray and were not disappointed. Would 100% book again. Staff are amazing, went over and above. Brendan and Gerry are a credit to the business! They made our stay so enjoyable. Food is absolutely fantastic, and plenty of it!

Had the most fantastic stay at the hotel room was spotless bed was comfortable housekeepers done a great job, evening meal was beautiful couldn't fault it staff went above and beyond for us, breakfast was beautiful will definetly will be back thank you all again

Rather a let down from pre Covid days. The extensive menu was no more with just a carvery and light bites ( like starters). My chips were not quite fully cooked, cabbage undercooked, the carvery meat was end bits and far from generous . Will not return.

Arrived to check in went to our room could hear everything from next door so loud and didn’t feel comfortable staying there so went to reception she said nothing else available only to say I want happy as we were there for two nights when we were moved we were put in a room that wasn’t cleaned bed not changed or made dirty towels on floor so went n got moved again we had to pack and unpack 3 times staff were not helpful at all we didn’t even get a complementary bottle of water i would never stay here again even if we got it free was for my birthday n to say it was ruined by my experience well I loved Derry and will defo stay else we’re
