The location of the hotel is very central, just inside the city wall, and there are welcome biscuits and chocolates. The children said it was delicious, but the room is relatively small. The British breakfast service is very good

Situated as it is on one of the steepest streets in the UK, our arrival was - at the very least - dramatic as we dropped bags off. Our double room was comfortable and reasonably spacious, with all the facilities we would expect. Staff are helpful and friendly, while the restaurant serves good food, with plenty of choice. The central location helped too as we could walk everywhere we wanted to visit.

Lovely hotel. Everyone was very helpful from Meghan at check in to Karen, Restaurant supervisor. We were only there for one night, but could easily have stayed longer. Rooms were comfortable, great dinner and convenient location within the walls.

From the moment we checked in the service was superb. Very friendly reception that was helpful with suggestions of places to go and things to do. The room we stayed in was clean, quiet, comfortable and classy. The location is excellent. Parking on the street can be a little tricky but there is a car park at the bottom of the hill, about a three minute walk. I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely staff, but says had a contractor come into my room unannounced. Scary.
Wish my room had had a view other than a W
window well, but otherwise very comfy.

From start to finish the hospitality was excellent so friendly and welcoming the champagne to welcome guests is a lovely touch and Buck’s Fizz with breakfast, my wife enjoyed .we had a nice room with everything you could want from a room. We had dinner booked for the evening and again the food was excellent and the service from the young girl was excellent she also served us breakfast which I can also say was excellent and great choice on offer really enjoyed my stay

My impressions of this hotel are mixed. It is generally a good 3-star hotel (but not even close to 4-star as they advertise) located in the very center of Derry and with an excellent restaurant. On the other hand, they have a weird and confusing heating/cooling system, which they centrally turn on and off whenever they decide so (probably to save money) and you don't have any control on it. The rooms are very clean but the emphasize is more on style than substance: you provide fancy robes and (basically useless) slippers, but the furniture is not very functional and sometimes awkward. I stayed in two rooms there - one was OK, but the second (named Castle) was definitely furnished by somebody who never stayed in a hotel. Everything was in the wrong places, everything was awkward and inconvenient. So if you decide to stay in this hotel, try to avoid that room.

This is a wam, friendly hotel which is very well situated within the city. All the staff are very accommodating of guests needs. Loved the welcome bubbles when we arrived and the Mimosas every morning which accompanied our delicious breakfast. Thank you for a delightful few days. We will definitely be back.

Located in the heart of the famous walls; this is one of the greatest hospitality hotels I have ever enjoyed! We were greeted by the most friendly staff that welcomed us with a lovely glass of bubbly! The services are First Class; staff couldn’t be more helpful; every wish was granted with pleasure.
