We checked in on Friday evening. On Saturday morning we wanted to shower but there was no hot water. Spoke to reception who stated 'No-one else has reported an problem with the water' and left us with that response. Very tepid showers experienced and then we left the hotel for a day out. Upon our return in the late afternoon to meet with our daughter who was also staying at the hotel, there was still no hot water. The receptionist and my wife checked a number of rooms to confirm that there was no hot water on site. This time the receptionist helped buy boiling kettles in order that our daughter might have a bath, and then took the issue seriously and reported the mater so it could be resolved. By Sunday morning, 24 hours later we had hot water again. Not really what one expects from a hotel in the U.K., but there you go with Travelodge.
