Albert Park Motor Inn - Oil Friendly Price

This motel unit was clean and spacious but customer service was entirely missing. The receptionist was often unavailable as it seems the staff here are spread across three establishments. The scheduled servicing of the unit consisted of emptying the rubbish bin, and even though a wet bath mat was on the bathroom floor, there was no effort to replace it. I would not stay here again if I was to returning Longreach.

Door doesn’t shut or lock. Was told no bbq on site. There is a bbq in the pool area. After other arrangements made. Power point hanging off the wall.

Travelling to Longreach for work I have stayed at both Albert Park and their other establishment Maybe running two places is the issue as there seems to be no time for any TLC I have always found staff helpful but some care needs to be given to the grounds and the rooms The rooms are dated. Nothing a little revamp wouldn’t hurt The window decorations could be better, something with a little more substance to block out the lights of the car park which lights up the room The massive black pots outside every room is like your own personal sand pit you can’t play with. Either fill with plants and maintain them or get rid of them My room on one occasion had cobwebs and spider - easily fixed if cleaned properly Bed is fairly comfortable No Foxtel or Austar on the small tv considering room size Spending money on this facility to refresh and upgrade seems to be a no no If your expectations aren’t high you won’t be disappointed

Except for 2 cleaners, did not see any staff during my 4 night stay. Text received to explain how to get into the room - via code entered on keypad. The motel was still on the reduced Summer schedule of offerings; and during a time of serious flooding in the district making travel to the town very problematic.

This is a large motel almost opposite the Qantas Museum. Room access is via an entry code on an electronic lock. This business presents itself as a premium product. The rooms are large and the charges are equally large. This is an expensive motel. For all of this the wi-fi is too weak to be effective. The coffee sachets are the cheapest and nastiest available. The quantity of tea and coffee provided is the minimum to be able to call it a service. Skimping seems to be the order. Several small items which make stays comfortable are absent. Blackout curtains have more holes than a swiss cheese. When staying for several nights, daily housekeeping comprises clearing the rubbish bins and wiping down the ensuite facilities. Noise carries between rooms.

The room was ok. Was not cleaned well the after the first night. The door to the bathroom was water damaged and wouldn’t close properly. Just ok!

Albert Park Motor Inn is located a few Km from the city centre but this can be an advantage. It is less likely that random visitors will visit during the night. Saw a wallaby in the garden soon after arrival. Covered parking is excellent. Room is comfortable and spacious. Longreach is an interesting town with museums, retail, and attractions.

It was ok Issues with keypad entry lock, needed to get physical key. Poor WiFI Capacity was poor with constant drop outs

Really liked pin number to enter our room, just saved on looking after keys. 10 out of 10
