Check-in and from the room, here was the cleaning service not yet through and we were offered a direct alternative room. That was good service. The room did not surprise us but did not disappoint us. The establishment appeared to be a little old, or solid. Desk, bed, TV, seat all there. What we experienced shortly after reference was the persistent food smell in the room that moved from the hall to the room. Also at closed window and closed door. In the bathroom there is a little place and sometimes it smells a little very after-flow, but you can make the door easy. We particularly liked breakfast and really nice service. The (so we believe) chef of the breakfast served was extraordinary careful and premature. The selection at the buffet was more than sufficient. Overall we had a very nice stay and we come back when the Odenwood calls the next time.

The hotel is located near the motorway, which is why we have chosen the hotel for a night after a long drive. We did not take breakfast, for €16 per person we preferred to get something from the nearby baker. (We can only recommend it warmly!..;)) To the room: The room itself is a little older, especially the bath could once be able to rehabilitate. However, the bed is comfortable so we could get some recovery after the long drive.

The hotel was undergoing an upgrade so the room we checked in to was new and refreshed. The hotel cafe had a good spread for breakfast. The staff were very friendly and gave us recommendations to visit around the area. Volk was particularly helpful.

Cost-effective, family room, children have a separate compartment. There is a shopping mall opposite, which is completely satisfied with simple shopping. Next to the bus station, it is also very convenient to Mannheim city, and there is a river on the back of the hotel. Breakfast is normal

Rooms are pretty basic but enough for a short overnight stay. Breakfast was pretty nice with a lot of choice. What surprised and kinda annoyed us was the fee for parking at the hotel itself. 5 euros per night. There was plenty of parking space so why would you charge your own guests for parking?! Their answer was that we could park for free in the unlit industrial area a bit off to the side of the hotel. You have got to be kidding right. It’s a HIGHWAY hotel.

The staff is very friendly and welcome to their guests at the reception. The friendly and family atmosphere is the first place as a privately managed hotel. We were received by Isabelle (the daughter of the house) and Melissa, who were really at the same time everywhere and read the wishes from the eyes to the guests (despite protective masks!). Also in “Stefans Restaurant” Isabelle sees everything with only one view. The idyllical city Limburgerhof is still a secret tip, because the starting point is just ideal. Excursions for example to Heidelberg, Speyer, Newtown on the wine road, or just a short time to Elsass are just a few good goals. My wife and I were in Elsass one day, which was really a great experience. The Holidaypark Haßloch is only 17 km from the hotel. 130 modern, friendly and comfortable rooms and Superior rooms, as well as suites, provide you a second home. A sauna, a fitness room, a hotel bar, a terrace and eight conference and seminar rooms are rounded out the equipment. The four-star hotel is a demanding house with a top kitchen and a balanced environment for celebrations, business and individual travels, as well as meetings. We had dinner in ”Stefans Restaurant” on two evenings, which was very good. The breakfast buffet was also absolute tip. All the heart wants. All rooms are non-smoking rooms and very clean, with shower, toilet, telephone, flat-screen TV, Wi-Fi and a small refrigerator that you can switch on. We were here in mid-September for three days, but we are very sure that we will be back in the “Residenzhotel Limburgerhof” by spring 2022 at the latest. Parking is sufficiently available just in front of the hotel.
