The physical plant was charming and comfortable and the staff was very attentive and friendly!

There was unpleasant smell in the bathroom. Wifi quality is terribly low. Breakfast was very basic, extra charge for the coffee.

A unique French experience in downtown Los Altos. This beautifully designed property has the feel of a French Chateaux, boasting authentic French antiques and comfortable, stylish public and private rooms. Our room had a lovely marble bathroom and gas fireplace. We were warmly welcomed by French-accented staff. Our delicious dinner (extra fee) and breakfast the following morning (included) were enjoyed in the cozy dining room near the fireplace. The evening guitarist/singer was exceptional and performed at the perfect volume, so as not to overwhelm our dining conversation. Upon arrival, my husband and I enjoyed a latte and glass of wine on the terrace, situated outside on the street corner. While we were at the entry to intimate downtown Los Altos, the planted terrace offered a pleasant atmosphere. Overall, it was an enjoyable venue to celebrate our 43 Wedding Anniversary. We would return.

Internet could be better

The Hotel is small but well located in town. The room was clean but a bit crowded with perhaps too much furniture. We did like the late afternoon wine and cheese plate which was delivered to our room. What we did not appreciate is that apparently the heating and air conditioning systems are centralized so there is no ability for the guest to control the temperature.....our room was too warm and uncomfortable for both my wife and myself. Not certain we would return......

Will Highly Recommend ! The food was great ! Service great ! Rooms were great ! Will be back again. The staff are very professional and attention to detail is outstanding. Very good music,too! Great Decor and close to downtown.
