One Lux Stay Hwh Downtown Los Angeles

Nothing of the photos online look like the place you’re staying at. Non refundable. Also not connected to the actually apartment complex, very sketchy situation going on

I arrived to the unit to find that there was a floor unit air conditioner with the hose connected to the window. This called for the window to be open all the time. Lots of dust, debris, and allergies. Also discovered a massive leak that had filled the storage in master unit. Been cleaned up, but stil showed black mold and water damage. The property was in a nice location, but the apartment itself is in immediate need of some renovations, especially floors. The wooden part of the floor (kitchen and living area) was completely out of shape and with nails coming out of it. If they update that floor, I would consider staying again. Also the sofa was quite dirty with stains. We had to place a blanket over it :(.

Not as advertised Only small window ac for the whole apartment. Nothing like picture at all. The furniture is old and dingy. When I called about the AC, I was told that it AC is sufficient for the unit. Were left and had to go to another motel. They retro cancel even though I bought the insurance. So, I ate the $900 they charged me and then the cost of a motel. I’m sorry I didn’t take pictures.

The apartment itself is nice. It’s roomy and accommodating. Our family of five had plenty of space to sleep, cook, eat and having 2 bathrooms was very convenient. However, the traffic outside is so loud. We heard people yelling from the streets, cars driving and backfiring and inexplicable banging noises at literally all hours of the night. Parking is in a lot behind the building and is only $12/day, but it expires at 6am, so we had to get up early every morning to pay for the day. The building is old, so the hot water took literally an hour to warm for a shower in the bathroom with 2 sinks. The other bathroom seemed fine. The building itself seems pretty quiet. We didn’t really see any other tenants. The rooftop access is really nice. There are pools, fire pits, a gym, ping pong table, foosball, grills, and a nice city view. All in all, it was a comfortable stay, close to Universal Studios, The Broad Museum, Angels Flight, shopping, dining and the freeway.
