We stayed in the garden room for several days in July 2025. Very comfortable bed, plenty space to hang clothes and store our belongings, and nice shower. The hosts were very accommodating to changes in our arrival time due to flight delays. .The kitchen is well equipped and has a nice fridge, making it possible for us to have breakfast and some meals there. We spent some time in their nice garden just relaxing. Convenient location to several places; easy to get an Uber. They do have parking space available inside their yard for those who drive. We had no problem walking up and down (the somewhat steep) hill to a nice coffee shop on Sunset Blvd. Overall, the hosts are great, the place beautiful and comfortable, so it was a very nice stay!

Sanborn House was perfect for my needs. The host was very personable, and did a great job giving me a tour and explaining the amenities and expectations. The bed was great, and the AC unit /ceiling fan worked well to keep me comfortable. Highly recommend.

On a hill so if you are mobility impaired may need to consider a flatter more accessible alternative, otherwise it’s an excellent location.

Great clean & basic home stay. 2 rooms in a very quiet & safe neighborhood with great places nearby (walkable). Our room was large, great aircond, extra dbl firm comfy bed, plenty of light & curtains, no facilities-but great outdoor area with secure parking, small ensuite -shower & toilet, shared kitchen with all you need, close to Hollywood with bus nearby, approx 1hr from LAX, Beverly Hills and great hosts. Enjoyed our (couple) 3 day stay.

I was traveling alone and looking for secured parking. I was very happy with the walkable location, loads of places to stash all my "necessities," clean shower, and comfortable bed. I would recommend to a woman traveling alone (or a couple) who want an excellent location. The organic food store nearby was a great find for fresh and cooked foods. The outdoor area was welcoming and well maintained.
