Great Location for a Family Universal Studios VacationThe location was perfect for visiting Universal Studios! Check-in was very easy — the host provided clear instructions and helpful information about nearby stores and places in the area.However, a few things to note: the listing mentions garage parking, but the garage is being used as a gym, so parking is on the street. Also, be sure to bring your own shampoo and body wash, as only hand and dish soap are provided.The home could use a bit more attention to cleaning, inside and outside. We had to look for towels and eventually found them in the dryer. Even though the house is a little outdated, that’s never been an issue for me — cleanliness matters more, and I feel that area could be improved.Overall, it’s a convenient stay for families planning to visit Universal Studios, with a few minor things that could make the experience even better.

Overall house was in a great location. We stayed there 2 years ago. Since then house has dated. It is in need of a deep clean. Kitchen utensil drawers need cleaned. Baseboards wiped and appliances need wiped down. Backyard furniture is filthy. Beds are not comfortable. Probably will not come back to this house.

We were able to easily access this home conveniently located in the Hollywood Hills and appreciated the detailed directions left by the owner. Plenty of street parking and be prepared for the steep entry stairs. There was minimal towels and kitchen dishes available. The home is dated and could use a good deep cleaning. The main television and sound system advertised as state of the art did not work and owner did not repair during the time of our week long stay, even though they were notified at the time of our check in.

Excellent Location and Comfortable Home! We had a great stay at this property. The location is fantastic for exploring LA, and it really can't be beat if you're going to Universal. The street parking was never a problem - we got a space within a 1/4 block of the house each time. The host provided extremely detailed and helpful instructions for everything - much appreciated! The house itself is, as other reviews have noted, more "vintage" than "luxury" - "dated" is not inaccurate. But the price is totally reasonable for what you are getting. Beds were comfy, plenty of blankets and towels for our group of seven, and the morning light in the dining room was so lovely. We would happily stay again!

Great location! The house is in a fantastic location! Very nice, safe area. Quiet, beautiful property and great communication with the owner/property manager. House is a little dated, but the price is right and I really think you can't beat this location if you want to bring your family to Universal Studios. Would definitely stay again!!
