The Nirvana

This is a great little boutique hotel in an older, renovated building. A few areas in the interior hallway showed a little age -- typical of any older building -- but our unit (306) was completely renovated and included a large living area with a kitchenette, plus a separate bedroom area. The kitchenette did not include dishes / utensils / etc., so plan accordingly. The suite does not have private outdoor space, but there is access to a lovely street-front balcony on the second floor. Hollywood Boulevard, Chinese Theater, Walk of Fame, other attractions and good restaurants are within a two to three block walk. Parking is offsite and is not included in the room rate, but parking fees were reasonable, and the lot was conveniently located one block down the street. I would stay here again if visiting LA.

I had quite an unexpected wonderful stay at this very unique property. Central to everything, and within walking distance. If you like history, and mystery, this is the place to stay.
