Hilton Los Angeles Airport

Very close to Los Angeles Airport, with a free shuttle service running 24/7 every 20-30 minutes, which is super convenient. The room was very clean and spacious.

The hotel offers a free 24-hour shuttle bus service, and the rooms are very clean. The windows are large, and despite being close to the airport, the soundproofing is excellent, making it very quiet at night. The overall cost is lower than nearby hotels that don't offer a shuttle service. The only downside is that you have to register for a Hilton Honors membership to use the free Wi-Fi, which is a bit inconvenient.

The location is easy to find, and the shuttle bus sign is very clear. The driver also helped with luggage. The hotel decor is nice, and the bed is very soft. There's no water heater, but you can manage with the coffee machine. 😂😂

1. I want to specifically talk about the bathroom. The shower knob turns left and right to adjust the water temperature, but to get water flowing, you have to pull the very bottom part outwards. It's a completely different design from other countries, so be careful not to break it. It felt a bit awkward. 2. Turn left out of the hotel, and past the traffic light, there's a fast-food restaurant, similar to KFC. 3. Continue walking left, and you'll find two gas stations with convenience stores inside, where you can buy daily necessities.

I checked in quite late as I had an early flight the next morning. To my horror, there was a giant cockroach in the bathtub! I called hotel guest services first, but no one showed up for a long time. Then I contacted Ctrip's online customer service, who were actually quite good and said they'd help me follow up. Later, I called the hotel's main line, and they also said they'd send someone. At this point, Ctrip customer service told me they couldn't reach the hotel either. Finally, a security guard came and squashed the cockroach, but didn't clean up or anything, which was really off-putting. In the end, I had to go downstairs to the front desk myself to sort it out, and thankfully they changed my room. Ctrip also compensated me with some points, so it ended fairly well, but I didn't get to sleep until almost 1 AM because of all the hassle. The hotel's main advantage is its low price, and Ctrip's service was good. That's about it~

Every time I land in Los Angeles, I choose this Hilton for an overnight stay to adjust to the time difference. It's very convenient to get here from the airport, with a shuttle bus available. The hotel's facilities are good, but this time the room I was given had a strange odor.
