From the outside, I thought it would be a very low-quality motel, but the staff were very friendly and the room was perfectly fine for a few days' stay.
The only downsides are that the nearby bars are noisy until late at night and there are no stores nearby where you can buy drinks.
I think it would be fine for watching a Dodgers game or sightseeing downtown.
