My friends and I head to Playa del Sol because they have four pickleball courts on the property. We understand that Tony, who runs the pickleball program in the morning, collects around $6 from anyone that wants to play. This year, the hotel started charging an additional $3 for those that want to play in the afternoon. We will be looking at different lodging, if they continue to charge for courts that are part of the hotel.

Amazing staff, gorgeous location, safe, great food, clean & cozy. Charging food and drink to the room was super convenient. The only minor negatives to this wonderful place was the beds were not very comfortable and the process for using the hotel pickle ball courts was a bit clunky. We found out when we got there that the courts are "reserved" until 10AM most days unless you get on the "list".

I didn’t like the place, bug infested, internet was very intermittent, nickel and dimed you for everything, no tv or coffee maker in room, couldn’t enjoy the pool, not heated and very windy. Very expensive for what we got. Terrible place

We were chartering a fishing trip in Los Barriles and our first choice of hotel was closed for the season so we were given this hotel as an option. It turned out great! The room was adequate and clean. The hotel is right on the beach where we got picked up for our charter. The Hotel dock and beach were great. The hotel food was ok, they had a buffet the night we go there and it was pretty good. and the staff was awesome.
