This hotel is very big, they have several restaurants, but the menu is the same, and there is no change or richness. Alcohol is of low quality.

We thoroughly enjoyed this week in Cabo and a fantastic resort that is well laid out has fantastic amenities and fun for all. We enjoy the party atmosphere from a distance and quiet relaxation most of the time excellent food, fantastic rooms and amazing staff.

We are a couple in our late 40s. The resort is clean, well organized and the food is varied and always well stocked. Drinks were not watered down. Staff always friendly. Our room in building 4 was newly renovated and very comfortable. However, we had requested building 7 and they said it was a different room category. I am not convinced. Loved the large shower and the mini fridge was always well stocked. The resort is very large and fits various needs from families to young party goers. The only downside is that if you want an ocean view during the day, it is loud with music or entertainment the whole day long. The quiet pool is in the middle of the resort. The restaurants don't need reservations which was awesome, except for the steakhouse. We were able to enjoy some quiet time despite the party atmosphere. We did bring earplugs, as people come back in the middle of the night from the disco rather drunk and singing, or screaming. We had to call security once , as a drunk fellow kept trying to use his key to get into our room. Not dangerous, just totally out of his mind and needed to be helped. Staff should do a better job at not allowing people to hold pool chairs. It's annoying how rude people are and think they can use the chair for two hours and hold it the whole day. The ocean was swimmable for the most part, except for a couple of days when the swells got really large. If you walk towards the marina for 10 minutes, there is a part of the beach where there is no undertow and it was really nice to swim there while going on our daily walk. Overall, if you want a romantic getaway, this is not the place. The Palace next door is for sure the best option. Their beach area is off limits to vendors so much more enjoyable. However, the room may be older and the price is certainly higher.

Stayed 14 days at the Riu Santa Fe. Food was excellent, great variety. Everything was kept very clean...from the rooms, pools, eating areas, public bathrooms. The only thing that you need to be aware of (which we knew) it is a party place. They have 4 foam parties per week, 2 during the day, and 2 at night, so unless you have a room away from buildings 7, 8 & 9, the music is very, very, very loud. The staff is excellent, Carlos at the adult only pool (by building 7) was so much fun. Beach is hard to walk on, ocean not swimmable, there are a lot of vendors on beach but, if you say no thank you they leave you alone. Entertainment at night is lacking. Would probably not return as we like to try something different.

This was my 4th time at this resort. It has changed a bit since my last visit. They have built a new section and another resort beside it. There is now a Riu Party section that had shows 4 times during my stay. The resort is still beautiful and kept clean. The food was good with lots of choices. I did notice no theme nights. But I didn't have an issue finding something good to eat every night at the buffet. I did not eat at any specialty restaurants. Just a heads up that there is a bit of walking to do. The main buffet could be 10 minutes from your room depending what building you are in. Also it can be loud in the Riu Party sections at times. None of this bothered us, but you need to know that going in. Overall this resort was great to just sit and relax or party when you wanted. I look forward to my next visit. A special thanks to Jose Manuel. He is now the captain at building 7 restaurant. We ate there every morning and at lunch. He is always helpful and makes sure the restaurant runs smoothly. With a warm greeting he always made sure my morning coffee came as soon as I arrived. Funny thing is we both recognised each other from my previous visits. Magda was our daily waitress and she was great as well. I have to give another shout out to Antonio and his assistant Berenice at the dinner buffet. Antonio greeted us first day with a welcoming smile and they became our serving crew every day. We thanks them all for making our stay that much better.
