First time to Cabo - the Hilton resort is really beautiful. The grounds are beautiful. Pools are well maintained and always surprised were so clean even with everyone wearing sunscreen. Swim up bar was great and never had a problem getting a chair. During the day they would come around with some freebies (fruit or an ice pop, etc). which was a nice touch given how expensive everything was. I have never been to Cabo and but have been to other Mexican resorts which were great bargains - drinks, food, were super pricey so definitely did not feel like a value. Not much going on either in terms of activity - was quiet, but did participate in the margarita class which was very fun (for a fee). Even all the fitness classes required a fee - i would have enjoyed some water aerobics but that was not offered. Maybe because it was May and more of their off season? The room - room was clean, the balcony view was beautiful overlooking the property and ocean and beds were comfortable. AC worked quite well. The shower was finnicky and sometime take a while for hot water, but eventually would get hot. The fridge did not work the entire time we were there and despite them sending someone up and several chasers that never got resolved. They eventually told us that unless you did the upgrade they turned off the processer on the fridge (seemed odd since the room said it included one). So we could never keep the waters cold. no big deal as we switched them to an ice bucket. Cleaning people also never would refill anything, but were always in the hallway so easy to get refills of whatever you would need by asking. All the food and drink on the resort were great. I took turns every other day doing the breakfast buffet (for 40) and having yogurt/cofee at Dulce ($16). Ate at Vela and Lena - both were very good and different in their own right. Service throughout the resort was top notch. At Lena their fans were working which did make it very hot and hard to enjoy, but eventually a table freed up and we got moved which was enjoyable. Had no problem with any drinking any mixed drinks or salad so resort does a good job with water safety. Beach - water actually was nicer than i anticipated given other reviews - quite pleasant and ok to swim in, in the roped area. The beach however is super pebbly so definitely bring water shoes because you can't walk on the beach. Overall - resort was beautiful but being from the east coast a 6 hour trip to not be able to enjoy the beach/swim in the ocean and given how pricey everything was did not seem worth it to me; but if you are heading there definitely would recommend this place. was truly paradise.

I don't even know where to start with this trip. I was recently there from 5/16 to 5/20 and will never be back. Whenever I go to Mexico, it is usually as a dive trip, and I will stay at an all-inclusive with a dive center on location. This time I took my fiance with the hopes of good food and more of a relaxing stay. This place is a glorified all-inclusive masquerading as a high end luxury resort. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Well, here it goes: Food 1 - Food quality is the exact same as an all inclusive, except you get to pay full price for every meal. As a matter of fact, one night we got to dinner with 10 minutes left (it was a buffet), grabbed one plate each, each plate consisted of lukewarm to cold food. $175 dollars. 2 - The three restaurants offer the exact same food, just presented differently. Total ripoff. 3 - If you are looking for any late-night convenience store-type snacks, good luck, slim pickings. 4 - The breakfast buffet is the exact same every morning. Stuff yourself full of sugary carbs, and maybe get an omelet. Now, onto the rooms At first glance, everything looks nice 3 - The AC in the room appears to shut off at night unknowingly to you, so when you do wake up, it is hot as crap, and you are sweating. The room could be set to 68 degrees (lowest setting), but when you wake up, it is 78 degrees. 4 - The bed is an old-school coil mattress with a cheap topper to hide it. I spent every night awake, in pain, and tried moving to the tiny couch to sleep. The bed caused severe back pain that would shoot all the way down to my legs. At first, I thought maybe I had pulled something or done something to myself, as I never had any back pain. I told the front desk twice that the bed wasn't good and was told they would come to add something to it, never did. Also, first night home and zero pain, it all went away. The process of elimination confirms it was the crap bed there. 5 - The pillows are as hard as a rock. The beach 6 - Wanted a cabana on the beach for an hour, charged me the full day for it, something along the lines of $100 (with my discount from my upgraded concierge service for $150) Overall, it was a terrible experience, and If I could post an advisory to avoid this place at all costs, I would. Overall, it ended up costing me $9k (including $2k flights) for the worst trip I can remember as far as lodging, food, and location goes when I could have gone to Cozumel or Playa del Carmen for $3k all-in with flights and had a much, much, much better time (and probably had a decent night of sleep). ***ALSO - If you are a diver and come with camera equipment, think again. I got stopped at customs while they stared at my underwater camera housing for like 30 minutes before being escorted into a room and told i have to pay a 19% tax on my own housing unit for bringing it into Mexico. That was another $250.

Our stay at the Hilton Los Cabos exceeded my expectations and I would definitely return. We really enjoyed our time at the pool. The Altamar package allowed us to have reserved seats at the pool so there were no issues of finding chairs. Fidel and Angel provided excellent poolside service all day. It was a nice surprise when they brought out various treats such as paletas or frozen grapes. We also spent time at the beach and yes, while there is a swimmable beach, the waves are still a bit rough so we stayed pretty shallow. Talavera was great! We had an excellent dinner one night and Miguel took good care of us after a mixup by the staff with our reservations for the Fiesta Mexicana, which wasn't happening. We loved the daily breakfast buffet, as well. Joel also took good care of us. It is true that there isn't much within walkable distance from the hotel but I knew that going in and was pleasantly surprised at how quick and easy it was to get an Uber. It was almost like one was waiting as we never had to wait more than 2 minutes. The hotel is closer to San Jose del Cabo than Cabo San Lucas so we went to the former more than the 1 time we went to the latter. The Altamar package also made it easy with airport transfers included and the nightly happy hour. Our room had a lovely view.

My family and I have been coming to the Hilton Los Cabos for years, so when my now husband and I began to plan our wedding, there was no doubt in our mind that we wanted it to be here. Fernanda & Ivette blew us away with their expertise, attention to detail, and overall patience and kindness throughout the planning process and day of the wedding, and they truly made our vision come to life. It was the best day of our lives and we cannot thank Fernanda, Ivette, and the rest of the Hilton for everything they did to make this our dream day!

We had an excellent stay. Breathtaking views all around the hotel. The staff were uniformly attentive and knowledgeable. Food and drink were pricey, but of a very high quality. The room was really gorgeous. There is a nice beach associated with the hotel. Were able to see numerous whales from the property.
