Beautiful resort with a great staff and look forward to coming back again.

This property is not set up to serve folks that want a relaxing vaca. If you like large crowds, lots of children having their way at the pools, and loud local music blaring outside of your room for 3-5 hours in the evening. The rooms are nice, and clean, but if you want to enjoy the beach or the pool, you must be up and "claim your chairs" at least by 7:30am. Otherwise, you'll have to hang out on the sand or the lawn admiring the vast spread of unused chairs with names of people reserved on them, and random personal possessions that were left by the early morning folks for the entire day. If you do get a change to get a beach umbrella, if the wind picks up over about 5 knots, the staff will require you to put down the umbrella and just cook in the sun. Another noteworthy piece of info, don't bother booking a flight that gets you to the property before 4p. It does not appear that you can get in a room before 4p at the earliest. It seems like the corporate events get priority on just about everything, including cleaning the rooms. Probably a good idea to call and ask if a corporate event is booked during your vacation time; if so, I would definitely go elsewhere as its just too crowded and no way to actually be on the beach or at the pool during the day unless you got a 7:30a chair. Unlike most Hilton properties, this one does not have any lounge areas or enough available chairs to relax in while awaiting your room to be ready or, if all the chairs are "taken" (which was everyday of our stay.) It can be a long, unpleasant sit on a couple of uncomfortable chairs in the extremely breezy hotel entrance area while you wait for a few hours to get a room assigned too. All that said, the staff are generally nice. There are a host of pushy timeshare people running around and walking vendors strolling along the beaches, but that is Cabo in general. For what it costs to stay at this property and how much it costs to fly here, probably would suggest a different Hilton beach destination that folks have a better understanding on how to cater to folks that just want to sit on the beach and relax. It's a shame because the beach here is really beautiful. I think they know that because of that, they really don't have to do much to keep the hotel full. The guest service is underwhelming here.

We had stayed here many years ago before it was an HGV property. We returned this time as HGV owners. We stayed in a studio but were pleased with the amount of space in the room as well as the microwave, refrigerator , bar sink, plates, utensils, toaster and kettle. All of the HGV studios are oceanfront but rooms require a tremendous amount of points compared to other properties. The pool area is spread out along the terraced walkway overlooking the ocean. Cabanas and specialty seating as well as some based on preferred locations are for rent only. There is bar/food service available on the beach and around the pools. The beach area is much improved since the last time we stayed here with shaded beach chairs and specialty cabanas for rent. The location of the resort isn't great in that there is nothing within walking distance, everything off the resort requires a car or taxi. A taxi ride into downtown Cabo was $45 one way.

Our 3rd floor studio was great; spacious and luxurious bathroom with rainfall shower and separate bathtub. Kitchen had a small fridge, microwave, toaster, coffeemaker and hot water pot. We had a rental car and stopped at the Fresko grocery store about 3 miles away for sandwich ingredients, water, and snacks. For on-site restaurants, Vela and Talavera were the best options for vegetarians. The tortilla soup at Talavera was amazing. It is a 20-minute drive to San Jose del Cabo for good alternatives to the expensive resort eateries. We rented a platform at the adult pool one day and it was worth the $65+. The customer service provided by the waitstaff and people at the pools and beach was outstanding. Front desk staff, not so much. They did not provide any information about what services were available onsite, when restaurants are open, or even a property map, I didn't realize there was a small store/deli onsite until the day before we left. I didn't realize there were activities until I picked a piece of "litter" to throw away and realized it was a list of activities for the week. The restaurant hours were not clear and were inconsistent with what is listed on the property's website. Ask the concierge what is open, when, and if you need reservations. We wasted a lot of time trying to figure this out ourselves.

My husband and I thought this place was absolutely breathtaking. The pools, beach, gym, grounds. Perfection. The only issue we had was the unnecessary price gouging. We were stuck playing 10$ for bottled water. No one even told us they offered tap water until our last day. We spent 250$ on food daily, and that’s just food with still being hungry after we ate. We don’t drink alcohol, can’t imagine how expensive it’d be if we did. We will not ever go back.

This is our 4th stay here in 8 months as HGV owners and definitely our favorite Hilton property. We’ve stayed at other resorts in Cabo and this is absolutely the best overall experience. Best staff, grounds are beautiful, pretty mellow crowd, best beach access and views. My husband loves that he can rent the sailboats for a nice ride along the shore. The pools are amazing, we particularly love the adult pool where we always rent one of the platforms, that’s a must. Great service at the pool always. This visit we ate at Lena/Telavera and our waiter Eduardo was top notch. He made incredible recommendations from the wine to our entree, couldn’t be more pleased with our dinner. We’ve always met incredible guests who are repeat guests so that speaks volumes for the caliper of this resort.

Our family had a phenomenal stay at this resort!!! The property is breathtaking! The food was out of the this world and the drinks were flowing! We literally didn’t have a bad food experience during our entire stay! Wow…the staff….Carlos at the bell stand, Carlos at Telavera, Eduardo at Mio, and Juan Carlos at the beach cabana provided exceptional service and remembered our preferences every day! All of the infinity pool staff took exceptional care of our every need! Alan, the beach concierge, was a family favorite!! He was so accommodating and conversational daily — he even brought my boys a football to play with in the pool and on the beach!! We did the all inclusive food option and for us it was well worth it! Just be mindful that the specialty dinner nights aren’t included in the plan. Our room was on the second floor and we had the most amazing views of the sunrise and ocean every morning!! Truly a 10 out of 10 experience for our entire family!
