Hollywood Mirage - Excel Hotels & Resorts

Nice resort, but the rooms has old furniture and very used.

This was our 2nd visit to this hotel after first being here in October 2025 and we enjoyed it even more this time round! We arrived at lunchtime so made use of the on-site luggage lockers. The cost is €2 and we stored 2 cabin suitcases and 2 under seat bags in the one locker which is great before heading down into los cristianos for some lunch. As others have mentioned, the hotel is at the top of a series of very steep hills but it is walkable or you can get the hotel's shittle bus or a taxi. Taxi's are about €5 euro from the bottom. We were fully self-catering so can't comment on the food but the bar area is good and we often had a couple of drinks here before heading out for the night. The main pool was very lively and the entertainment was good, but there are other pools that are much quieter and just as refreshing if you want to get away from the noise. Our room was great if a bit dated but it was big and clean and the air con was very welcome! We opted for a non-sea view this time and actually preferred the room layout on this visit to last time. All in all can't fault it!

We really enjoyed our stay at ONA Hollywood Mirage. The rooms were modern, spacious and spotlessly clean. The only thing we’d mention is it could do with more towels provided. Facilities are excellent — pools, gym and spa were all well kept. The food was tasty with good variety. Staff were very helpful and friendly throughout. Overall a great base in Los Cristianos and we’d stay again.

I have just spent a wonderful week with my family in this complex. I was apprehensive prior to our holiday as I had read a lot if mixed reviews .So I wanted to provide a review based on my experience. Apartments were very spacious great air-conditioning and clean. Yes they are a bit dated but the ocean view was unreal. Staff were so helpful and friendly and we felt very safe . From the poolside entertainment to the night security everyone was so professional.and friendly. The lifeguard had a no nonsense approach to sunbed hoggers. If your not on your sunbed your towel is removed which was so refreshing.. It was fantastic value for money. Breakfast was good. Location is on a hill but there is a complimentary bus hourly to bring you down town. We found a lot of really nice restaurants locally also. My onmy complaint was the queue for checking in. I had already checked in online so I would like.managment to look at this system. Reception staff were efficient and friendly but the wait was tieing to check in. Overall we had a wonderful.week.and will.def be back.

Stayed here for 4 nights to centre a visit around a visit up Mt Teide with my 11 yr old. She loved the main pool and we always found a lounger with no issues and spent a day or two relaxing. Life guards on duty and plenty of organised activity to ignore or join in as you wish. Accommodation was simple but clean and the terrace big, we overlooked the second “quiet” pool. The venue is right on the outer edge of the town (to me this is a bonus as it’s quieter) and up a hill. This didn’t bother us and we walked down and back a couple of nights without much bother. Others might prefer a taxi. The reception staff we helpful and friendly sorting taxis and advice to Siam Park and giving clear help with using lockers (€2 coin) to store our cases for the day of check out til our late evening flight. We were able to use the wellness centre showers after check out and a day by the pool. Clearer and in advance notice of the restaurant and early pool closure for their Mexican themed evening do would have been appreciated so I could have made alternative plans with more notice.

Rooms very outdated fold out couch was filthy the bedding was dirty. The bath and sinks had lines of dirt. Doors wouldn't close properly upstairs. Our kids were having a sleep late one morning when a man and child entered our room as the hotel somehow gave them keys. Poolside food served me raw chicken burger lucky I cut it in have before eating it. This is rated a 4 star it should be 2.
