Room is a bit shabby but so far not bad. Stuffs are helpful. The restaurant next door is great. A pleasant stay overall.

Stayed here with a group of approximately 40 people on business. The hotel is basic but comfortable and has all the amenities and facilities you would expect in a hotel. The breakfast was great with lots of options and the rooms were clean and had everything that a guest would need. Staff were great and accommodating and the bar provided an area to relax in the evening. The hotel is situated close to both Loughborough and we used it to commute into Nottingham which was also very convenient. Overall a great hotel stay with good customer service and clean facilities.

I needed a simple and affordable room for an overnight stay for a conference/lecture weekend - I really just needed the basics and was pleasantly surprised by the large room size, and small details like biscuits / shampoo / dry cleaning options in the room. The breakfast was good too given the cost of the stay. Overall I would say that the Link Hotel is nicer than many other similar-priced stays I've experienced when travelling on a budget. Staff were warm and helpful.

Good location and good parking. Nice room and bathroom. With a few exceptions the staff were unfriendly and grumpy. Food well below average. Hot breakfast buffet barely warm.

Fine for our one night B&B stay. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room comfortable. Breakfast good. Strange there was no sink plug in the bathroom in our accessible room (108)! Hence no way to get a bowl of water!

What makes the Link Hotel so special: All of the staff are great people without exception and this includes maintenance and cleaning staff. Really, they are helpful, friendly and responsive to any issues you may have. Here is a case of 5 star staff in a 3 star hotel. Special mention to Harry, Denise, Monique, Romana, Steph. Joanna on cleaning and Mark + Ashley on maintenance. Oh, and yes, the rooms are clean and even though the bathroom extractor fan didn’t work in our room, everything else was great. One of the Best breakfast buffets we’ve encountered anywhere. Would I stay here again? Without a doubt.

Our stay was absolutely marvellous! The room was spacious, clean, tidy and warm. The staff were really helpful and friendly. Room service was excellent and swift. We always use The Link Hotel at Loughborough when visiting family, as it’s reliable and great value! You won’t be disappointed!

Fairly basic rooms as expected. Average value for money. They were very strict on 'no early check-in' which was a bit surprising as they were clearly almost empty. Also, they put us in the furthest room away from reception for some reason, was a 5 minute walk to get to it. My wife is heavily pregnant, so this was a bit annoying.
After we had settled in, we went down to the reception and asked why we were put so far. The receptionist was nice (different one to the one earlier who refused us early check-in) and offered us a nearer room, but at that stage we didn't want to go and move our bags (we were only staying 1 night)
In summary, few small things would have made this stay nicer for us, but it was more or less as I expected.
