The room was comfortable with a great view. We had simple dinners at the cafe each night. Much better than driving the windy road to Lousã after dark. The staff were very helpful! We thought Cerdeira was the best of the villages. Candal and Talasnal were nice too.

Dois casais, duas casas acolhedoras e bem quentinhas como se quer para a altura do ano. Bem equipada com o necessário. Como não existe tv, existem vários tipos de jogos convívio, para entreter. Mas aqui uma ressalva, porque quase todos estão incompletos. Este pormenor deveria ser revisto. O pequeno almoço, deveria ser um pouco mais rico, com a existência de uma salada de fruta, que nós apanhamos por exemplo e creio que exceção no dia 01/01. Equipa sempre disponível e atenciosa. A Liliana faz a casa, sempre prestável.

Situado numa aldeia espectacular, ideal para quem procura sossego. Tem vistas fantásticas e o staff é espectacular e sempre disponível a ajudar. O único ponto que podiam melhorar é os colchões serem mais confortáveis. Mas é um sítio a voltar sem dúvida!

This was the last place we visited in Portugal and by far our favourite. A charming restored village in a remote forest setting, with wonderful warm staff, excellent meals, charming restored accommodation, and a great base for hiking to neighbouring schist villages. The art 'resort' is very well run guided by a great vision and eco-friendly principles. You need a car to get to the village but it is well worth the effort. Highly recommended!

Beautifully located and appointed cottages, with outstanding views in every direction. Very welcoming and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast including local products and house-made jams. They even provided an excellent slow-cooked cabrito dinner despite our late arrival. The attention to detail is a clear indicator of the vision with which Cerdeira was started and which directs the careful ongoing implementation of that vision.

Understandably spotty. The bed was very comfortable. The views are breathtaking. The art in the house was fun and eclectic. We hope to come again and stay longer!
