Every member of staff werewarm and friendly,the service was above and beyond expectations.Daniels happy smiling face was a particular joy! Room extremely comfortable and the food was great. Love music on Saturday afternoon was a delightful interlude,so relaxed and open hearted,it was a real treat. Will definitely visit again and tell all my family and friends.

Excellent stay with a massive welcome. Thomas was brilliant from start to finish and with Paul on hand to give everyone a welcome and support those working there this is the place to go and stay. Food was good in the evening and with nearly a double breakfast you were never disappointed on the quality of the food. It was so good to meet Aidan as he starts his great vocation at the Priory. I cannot recommend it high enough for anyone to try this magical hidden gem in Louth

This place is full of love, it's like a big warm hug checking in there! The staff (who have learning difficulties or mental health issues) are warm and welcoming, and ensure your stay is a comfortable one. The food is excellent - we ate from their midweek comfort menu, and breakfast very good. The hotel building is quirky , with some wonderful architectural features and well kept gardens - it's one where you'll want to wander round and explore all the rooms. We had a very relaxing stay, fabulous place. I love the ethos behind it and will recommend to everyone I know.

Old fashioned, comfortable building. An establishment with a philosophy of doing the right thing in it's community. It's unique, Go and try it for yourself.

The Serendipity Foundation is an employment charity supporting people with learning difficulties or other issues who might otherwise be excluded from the job market. We visited The Priory on a Sunday for the lunchtime tasting menu. We were greeted by Ben who made us very welcome. He did an excellent job of describing each of the numerous courses. The food was prepared by chef Lowan who was passionate about his food and came and gave us further friendly information. The drinks and wine menu is extensive. The bill at the end of the 8 course lunch was a very resonable £35 pp. This restaurant deserves to be well supported and I would highly recommend it.

Amazing hotel and Paul (owner) and all the staff are all absolutely wonderful.

This place is an absolute delight. We arrived at night time to the twinkly lights decorating this pretty, characterful place. The following morning, in the daylight, we got to see just how pretty this place is, and can only imagine what it would look like in the summer with all the shrubs and flowers out. We could clearly see how the picturesque backdrop would be perfect for weddings. Equally welcoming were the staff on our arrival. Throughout our three days stay, the team simply couldn’t do enough to help us to make our stay pleasant and enjoyable. If staff courtesy at this level was common to all hotels in this country, we would have a world class hotel industry. This team is exceptional in their passion and their desire to please their guests. The food was lovely, especially breakfast. Live free entertainment on Sunday afternoon was lovely. Whilst they will let you know ahead of your stay that they are renovating the property, it is not immediately obvious, and they are doing it tastefully to protect the character and the history of the lovely building. The bedrooms were comfortable, warm, and the beds cosy with good bath and shower facilities (room 2). Would come back here at the drop of a hat. Absolutely loved this charming, quirky hotel and the wonderful team running it. Thank you to all.
