i stayed here because I was going to a wedding. The staff were amazing and very helpful. Everywhere was spotless clean. The food was delicious. Tea and coffee in your room and TV. I would certainly stay there again. Thank you for making my stay enjoyable

Very comfortable and welcoming. On site food is good, rooms comfortable and sensibly priced. Thank you. While i was here on a business trip it is worth noting that while not city centre location it is within easy access of centre and associated attractions

We used this hotel as a base while attending a family celebration. The hotel was ideal for our needs. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, which made our stay very pleasant. Our room was quiet and had everything we needed. The only area for improvement was the bathroom, this could do with an extractor fan as it was very steamy and the shower was a little awkward to use. Thank you

We found the Guide Post Hotel very easy to access from the M62 link and in a surprisingly quiet location. Our twin room and bathroom were spotless and the beds most comfortable. Lovely and varied breakfasts and evening meals topped only by the staff themselves who are just brilliant. Our second visit and, health permitting, not our last.

The staff were friendly and showed their personality (rare these days!). They made me feel welcome whilst being professional and efficient. The hotel and rooms were clean, comfortable and functional.

Rooms very clean very spacious and looked after and warm! Reception lady on our first evening (15th) check in dinner was absolutely superb with awesome customer service and knowledge along with the very lovely lady in the bar/restaurant Reception lady the morning of 16th was abit less helpful as we potentially needed another room for a second night and she was not interested in helping however the evening staff on reception and bar were once again fantastic Natasha on the bar was so helpful regarding menu etc Breakfast is well worth the money! Lovely young lady serving breakfast!! Recommend the pancakes and bacon along with the salmon royale 👌 And evening food in restaurant is great and we thought good value for money! Great staff for majority of our visit! Definitely stay again! 🙏 thank you

Took advantage of the Best Western Deal 2 for 1. Hotel just as before is fine and we cannot fault anything. Stay was in a standard twin. Plenty of room, loads of hot water plus bath and shower. Breakfast was great. Didn't dine as first night [Sunday] the restaurant wasn't open so used the Chapel House Pub that is just 200 yds across the road. If you like fast food there is a KFC 1/2 mile up towards the ring road that we used too. There is noting else around except a nice park about 3/4 mile down towards the motorway.

We booked this hotel as a base as we were visiting the Emmerdale tour. Has to be the best hotel we've stayed in. Staff are super friendly, rooms were spacious and clean. We had breakfast both mornings and an evening meal, all of which were superb. Special mention to Jodie who was so friendly and attentive. Bar area is so relaxing and we felt like we were at home. Would highly recommend and wouldn't hesitate in booking again. Thanks to you all.

We loved our stay at Best Western Guide Post Hotel. Was a bit worried when the price come up so cheap. But the only thing that was cheap was the price. The room was clean and very comfortable. All the facilities you would expect. The breakfast was great value and quality products with plenty of choice. The staff were all super friendly and professional. We will use the hotel again, with confidence. Thank you
